The place is absolutely quiet, although it's location is close to the centre and gives you perfect start to visit the Songshan Scenic Area and Shaolin Temple. The family will give you a warm welcome. It's a bit tricky to find. Once you've entered the little street leaving the main road you need to turn left. After 10 m you've to enter the yard.

The room was very nicely decorated. It felt very clean aside from the floor which could do better cleaning. There’s no restaurants nearby and it was impossible to find breakfast. However it’s a 20 minute walk from the long-distance bus station which has regular cheap buses to Zhenzhou so that’s convenient!

The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The owner was also very nice. It would be even better if the mattress was a bit softer.

We are a family on holiday in China & chose the 4 bed futon room which was excellent. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. They recommended food & arranged a taxi for us to the Shaolin Temple. I would definitely recommend this home stay.

Very warm BnB with a spacious room and friendly staff!

I had an incredibly enjoyable time here. The boss and his family are adorable and very available. The rooms are clean and quiet. The house is well located next to the central street and shops. It’s very easy to get to places of interest around and find a taxi. The boss knows his region very well and he loves history. I had a fabulous stay. cherry on the cake, his brother-in-law makes burgers and a delicious coffee two minutes away.

Perfect place for our three night stay in Dengfeng! Rooms are clean and spacious. The owner is friendly, knowledgable, and welcoming, and his personality and vision for the hotel are reflected in the decor. He even treated us to tea and baijiu. Highly recommended.

This hotel is perfect not only for visiting the Shaolin Monastery but also for enjoying the numerous children's entertainment options, shopping, and various restaurants located nearby. While it's close to such vibrant areas, the guesthouse offers complete peace and quiet. No outside noise. Our room was quite cool, making it ideal for a summer stay. Beautiful, stylish renovations, cleanliness, and comfort. Once again, I'm convinced how different two-star hotels can be. There should definitely be more of them here. The hotel owners are hospitable. If I ever visit the Shaolin area again, I won't even consider other hotels.

Very good, clean and hygienic

I stayed there in the summer of 2005. It was clean, but the bed was too hard. However, there was a mahjong table, so we could play for a while in the evening after playing mahjong, which made up for it. Haha, I recommend it for family trips!
