It's really hard to give a good review for this stay. From service and hygiene to the facilities, there were quite a few issues in every aspect. For a room that costs 600-700 even in the off-season, the overall experience was far below expectations.
First, the service: Aside from the moment we walked in, it was practically non-existent. After booking and until our arrival, the hotel didn't make any prior contact, like asking about our arrival time or sending information about the address or surrounding transportation. We drove there, and after getting out of the car, we had to carry our heavy bags ourselves. It wasn't until we reached the entrance that a staff member came to help us take our luggage to the elevator – this was almost the only instance of 'proactive service' we experienced during our entire stay. After check-in, they brought a complimentary hot milk and snacks, which was a thoughtful welcome, but it tasted bland, feeling a bit perfunctory. The most inconvenient part was that basic information like the Wi-Fi password wasn't proactively provided, and there was no signage in the room either.
Next, the hygiene: The carelessness in the details was unacceptable. There were several obvious stubborn stains on the pillowcases and sheets. I thought they might be the kind that can't be completely washed out even after repeated cleaning. After driving for 5 continuous hours, I was too tired to bother with a change and almost let it go. However, when I unfolded what looked like a clean, disinfected bath towel, I surprisingly found noticeable yellow stains. The feeling of disgust at that moment was truly unbearable. After taking photos and reporting it to the butler, they quickly replied that they could change them. But my friend was showering at the time, and due to the large gaps in the shower room, it was really inconvenient to have someone enter the room. I agreed to have them changed after my friend finished showering. What was infuriating was that, perhaps the butler was in a hurry to leave, they sent: 'You two are girls, I'm also a girl'… along with some smiling emojis, wanting to come in to change them… I was silent for a moment after seeing those emojis, and couldn't help but retort, 'I said she's showering, do you have to come in now?' Only then did they reply that they would come in when it was convenient. Clearly, these bed linens and bath towels were not cleaned properly, and this could have been discovered when changing or folding them. Do they really have to wait for the guest to complain before resolving the issue?
Regarding the facilities: The room had floor heating and an oxygen supply device, and the shower room even had a separate heater, so it wasn't cold during our winter stay. However, the layout of the bathroom was really perplexing: if you hang clothes on the doorknob inside the shower, they'll get wet, so clean clothes can only be placed on the vanity outside when showering. And there's no heating in the area between the shower room and the vanity, so when you step out after a hot shower, you're hit with a blast of cold air, making you shiver while getting dressed.
Noise insulation issues: We could clearly hear the sounds of people opening and closing doors next door and conversations in the hallway. If you're sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, you're likely to be woken up.
Overall, if you absolutely have to choose this hotel for various reasons, my advice is: just book the cheapest room type. There's no need to spend extra money. The shortcomings in hardware facilities and lack of service cannot be compensated for by a higher room rate.
