Because I arrived late and rooms were scarce, the front desk even gave me a free upgrade. My check-in experience was fantastic; I highly commend their warm and thoughtful service.

Getting to the hotel requires turning off National Highway 214 onto a village road, which was completely dark at night. At that moment, I regretted booking this place. However, after driving down that small road for about 5 minutes, we finally arrived, and I immediately felt that my choice was actually a good one. Once we entered the room, my worries completely disappeared! The room felt like a 4-star standard and, thankfully, was smoke-free. Even better, each room had a copy of the 'Brief Introduction to Diqing Prefecture,' a very professional, detailed, and comprehensive book that helps you quickly and systematically understand the area. The hotel restaurant's food was good (though a bit salty for us southerners). The prices weren't cheap, around 50 RMB per person, but given the generous portions, I wouldn't say it was expensive. The main benefit was not having to go out to eat, which saved time and effort. The hotel's environment and ambiance were perfect; it truly felt like a manor. I heard it used to be a vineyard that later upgraded to tourism services. Because it's far from the town and main road, it's incredibly quiet, and you can even see the peak of Meili Snow Mountain directly from here.

Staying at the Meili Ice Wine Manor when visiting Meili Snow Mountain was absolutely worth it! The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and reliable. They were patient and meticulous during check-in, proactively helping us plan our sightseeing and winery routes. They even arranged breakfast in advance for our early morning viewing of the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' phenomenon. Any request was met with an immediate response, and issues were resolved super efficiently; we felt perfectly taken care of throughout our stay. The room was clean, tidy, and had an amazing view, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The ice wine tasting experience was full of ceremony. The service was heartfelt, the environment was healing, and the warm service from the front desk was truly the highlight. Five stars are a must-give, and I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Meili!

The room was clean and hygienic. Breakfast, since there were few people, consisted of rice noodles, noodles (with a fried egg), and milk. Cabernet Sauvignon ice wine/free tasting: Okay. Mountain biking: Okay. It's about a 20-minute drive from Feilai Temple, and there's a viewing platform nearby where you can watch the sunrise.

The hotel's attention to detail and warm service are impeccable. Stepping outside the door offers panoramic views of the vineyards and Meili Snow Mountain, while the room's floor-to-ceiling windows provide a stunning view of the sunrise over the peaks. The hotel is well-heated and has ample oxygen, ensuring a restful sleep even at high altitude. Hot sweet tea is served upon check-in, and the butler can arrange ice wine tastings and guided tours of the vineyards. Breakfast includes a buffet of butter tea and barley cakes. With the snow-capped mountains as a backdrop and ice wine as a companion, this is the perfect immersive vacation option for your Meili trip! Everyone was very welcoming. Because there were few people when we arrived, the hotel owner invited us to dinner and wine tasting. The wine was excellent! It was complex, with rich floral and fruity aromas.

First, the hotel's location is quite remote. It's a 30-minute drive to the nearest viewpoint, Kawagebo, and even further from Feilai Temple's misty peaks, about an hour away. On the way back to Shangri-La after watching the sunrise over the mountains, the section through the Feilai Temple scenic area is extremely congested, sometimes taking four or five hours, forcing us to take a detour. Second, there are no restaurants near the hotel, meaning we either have to eat instant noodles or self-heating meals, or eat at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant's service is incredibly slow; we arrived at 8:30 am and waited over an hour to eat. Breakfast consisted of small bread rolls, snacks, braised eggs, and boxed milk… Finally, the mountain view wasn't as good as in the pictures 😅. The room soundproofing wasn't great; I was woken up by noise from next door in the morning. However, the overall cleanliness was acceptable.

🌟Five-star review! Diqing is absolutely stunning! The blue skies and white clouds of Shangri-La, the pristine lakes of Pudacuo, and the solemn grandeur of Songzanlin Monastery—everywhere is captivating. The hotel I stayed at was also fantastic, with Tibetan-style decor, cozy and comfortable rooms, and breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains from the windows. The restaurant's yak hotpot and butter tea were incredibly authentic, and the service was warm and attentive. I highly recommend everyone come and experience this pristine paradise; it will definitely be an unforgettable trip! 🏔️📸

Hygiene: The hotel was very clean. Service: The service was excellent. Even at 10 PM, the chef was still cooking in the restaurant, and the stir-fried pork with chili was incredibly delicious! We needed to get up early the next day to see the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains, so we didn't have time for breakfast. The hotel thoughtfully provided bread, milk, and eggs to take with us on the road! Superb! Facilities: The parking lot is large, perfect for those driving, and there's a huge road sign indicating the way. Cabernet Sauvignon Ice Wine/Complimentary Tasting: We sampled the hotel's own wine during our meal. It was delicious, sweet, and we ordered a bottle; all three of us loved it! We even saw fireworks at the hotel during New Year's Eve 🎆, and the next day we witnessed the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains. A truly fulfilling trip! Highly recommend staying here!
