I stayed at the Meili Podu, hoping to witness the sunrise over the thirteen peaks of Meili Snow Mountain... but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. It was rainy for days, and a thick fog enveloped the peaks, preventing me from seeing the magnificent sight of Meili's thirteen peaks! The hotel faces the snow mountain directly, so you can enjoy the 'golden mountain at sunrise' from your room if you're lucky enough to catch it. The hotel service was warm and attentive. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening desserts were all provided. Special mention goes to the breakfast, which was incredibly rich and exquisitely prepared. On the second morning, there was also a butter lamp lighting ceremony for blessings. The hotel's location is unbeatable, truly the best for viewing the snow mountain's 'golden sunrise'.

Overall, staying at Hotel Podu was an excellent experience! Service: We're so grateful to the hotel for upgrading our room. Our butler contacted us in advance, and when my husband wasn't feeling well, the butler and housekeeping staff provided timely assistance and proactively asked if we needed to go to the hospital. They even extended our check-out time – a huge thank you! Facilities: The hotel directly faces Meili Snow Mountain, and the overall environment is superb. The room was great, very spacious, with a direct view of Meili Snow Mountain, allowing us to observe the mountain's condition from our room. The next morning, we could also directly witness the 'Sunlight on Golden Mountains' phenomenon – it was amazing! The in-room amenities and supplies were also up to the standard expected for a hotel of this caliber. The bedding was excellent, perfect for sleeping semi-upright when dealing with altitude sickness. There's a hot tub where you can soak while enjoying views of the snow mountain. The mini-bar snacks were delicious! Altitude Sickness: Personally, I had no issues, but my husband felt that the diffused oxygen wasn't quite sufficient. However, there are oxygen facilities on the first floor where you can get oxygen, so I'd recommend anyone feeling unwell not to push through and go to the first floor for oxygen. Food & Beverage: While the dining can't compare to some five-star hotels, the breakfast here is excellent for the Meili area. Afternoon tea was also decent, though it's a pity there weren't any hot, caffeine-free, non-dairy drinks. Hotel Activities: We mainly participated in the ******* incense making and prayer flag hanging. The staff were incredibly nice and guided us through the entire process.

The room facilities were complete, the service was very attentive, and the breakfast spread was exceptionally rich. The terrace view was incomparable, offering the long-awaited sight of the 'Golden Mountain in Summer Sunrise,' making for a perfect travel experience. I'll definitely be back!

An absolutely fantastic hotel! The views, service, and afternoon tea were all superb, but the breakfast was unexpectedly rich and varied. It's the perfect spot to watch the 'sun-kissed golden mountains' – at 6:30 AM, I stood on the balcony and saw a huge crowd gathered below the hotel, all waiting. It was such a delightful experience, definitely worth it!

The room offered breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains, allowing us to witness the stunning 'Golden Mountain under the Sun' spectacle right from our beds. Even during the rainy season, Meili remains spectacular. We had such a delightful time on the mountain, and this hotel was the most memorable part of our trip. First and foremost, the location is unbeatable, offering a prime spot in Wunongding for mountain views. The hotel's design fully capitalizes on this advantage, providing ample public spaces for guests to admire the scenery. The architecture is full of interesting touches, with thoughtful details found in the staircases, windows, and terraces. Secondly, the decor is on point; it's clear the operator has perfectly executed the designer's profound aesthetic vision. Thirdly, the service is incredibly attentive. The WeChat service group is very responsive, quickly resolving any issues we had. Finally, let's talk about the food and activities. With breakfast, afternoon tea, and a goodnight drink, those with smaller appetites might not even need extra meals. The activities are also quite varied, giving you plenty to do on the mountain besides just staring into space. If there's one minor drawback, it's that the breakfast variety is a bit limited, with a two-day rotation, which can get a little monotonous for longer stays.

This guesthouse is absolutely divine, top-notch in every aspect, from facilities to services! The hotel photography is also stunning and produces amazing shots.
