Jixiashan Meili Sunyata Hotel

Service: The butler contacted us a day before to confirm our arrival time. Since we were arriving late in the evening, they thoughtfully arranged for afternoon tea to be delivered to our room. We had two rooms booked for two nights, and they upgraded us to the Muyun King Room. Due to a sudden change in plans and a family emergency, we had to cancel one night, and the hotel staff handled the cancellation very smoothly. Cleanliness: Very clean. Face towels and toilet seat covers were provided. Environment: The hotel faces the Meili Snow Mountain directly. We enjoyed two days of the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' and also saw a beautiful starry sky. Both our room and the terrace offered views of the snow-capped mountains. Facilities: The humidifier, in-room heating, oxygen supply, and electric heater all worked great.

The room was spotless, and the 1.2-meter single bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were all warm and professional. The staff on the 4th-floor viewing platform, in particular, were outstanding; they taught us how to capture beautiful photos of the scenery. The butler service group was incredibly responsive. The hotel is located near the Wunongding viewing platform, so you don't have to brave the early morning cold to see Meili Snow Mountain; you can see it directly from the 4th floor. We were so lucky this time, from January 25th to 27th, we saw the breathtaking 'Sunrise over Golden Mountain' (Rizhao Jinshan) of Meili Snow Mountain for two days, as well as the 'Sunset over Silver Mountain' on the first day. The two documentaries shown at night, "Kawa Karpo" and "The Salt Road," were fascinating. The small gift we received upon check-out was lovely. However, the dinner selection was uninspiring, and the portions were small. For instance, the stir-fried Pipa pork with matsutake had very little meat and mushrooms, but a lot of green onions. I hope they can improve this aspect!

Second time choosing Jixiashan, and lucky enough to witness the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' thrice! This place truly feels like a 'temple dedicated to the snow-capped mountains.' Located at Wunongding, 3600 meters above sea level, it offers direct views of Kawagarbo Peak. You can tell the designer's thoughtfulness in every detail: stone floors, a real bonfire, a panoramic glass wall in the observation deck, and smoke marks on the walls. The architecture, interplay of light and shadow, and a sense of reverence redefine a pilgrimage journey here. The rooftop bar is incredibly cozy. The staff member there is knowledgeable about constellations and great at photography. Capturing the moments of a brilliant starry sky, a pink and purple dawn, and golden snow-capped peaks—even just doing nothing and letting time pass here is absolutely wonderful.

Extremely satisfied! The accommodation was great, and the rooms had excellent oxygen supply equipment. The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! The viewing platform on the fourth floor offers amazing photo opportunities. Highly recommended – you can see the 'golden mountains in the sun' without even leaving the hotel!

The service was excellent, and the hotel's location is superb. You can see the thirteen peaks of Meili Snow Mountain from the public areas, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' phenomenon. The butler was thoughtful enough to help us take photos, which could even be printed instantly. The stay also included welcome fruits, a double afternoon tea, and evening tea.
