Deqin Yubeng Siji View Inn Reviews

Place ran by an older couple that are very helpful and they cook very good food (the chaofan was delicious). The views are breathtaking, specially from the second floor. The rooms are very simple, the bathrooms could be better, but it is understandable as we’re high up in the mountain. The room was a bit cold, but the bed had a heat mat which was key to spend the night.

The accommodation is a little difficult to find as there are many uphill dirt paths around. The hostess was a sweet lady, and was very accommodating, and the staff even helped me dry our clothes. The food cooked by the host was a refreshing change from all the spicy malat dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

Very good considering that Kunming is a rustic destination

Absolutely loved our stay here! The hosts were really caring and friendly. They constantly checked on us and took great care of us! Would recommend to anyone who is intending to stay in Yubeng.

The hosts are very helpful and friendly people. The location is very conveniently in the village, close to the bus stop and starting points for hikes. The room and toilet isn’t the most sanitary or new but need to manage expectations on the mountain.

Great service from the staff. Very responsive and helpful. I would recommend visitors stay in Lower Yubeng unless your main attraction is the glacier lake hike. The property is roughly 1-2km from Lower Yubeng and is a bit difficult to reach on foot.

The environment is very good. You can face the snow-capped mountains directly when you walk out of the house. You can see the golden mountain in the sun. The location is very good. There is also a heater inside. It is very considerate. There are also blankets and electric blankets on the bed. It is very good.

The hotel is in Shangyubeng Village, with a great environment and beautiful ice lake line. This year there is a lot of ice and snow, so we can only go to Xiaonong Ranch. The hotel owner is very nice, the food is delicious, the portions are large and not expensive, I am very satisfied!

The boss is not a professional chef but he is from Guangxi and cooks delicious food. I stayed here for two nights. Although I encountered some naughty parents and children on the first night, Ctrip customer service and the boss also actively dealt with it. If you go to Shangyubeng, I strongly recommend this inn!!!

Picture 1 is the photo of Jinshan Mountain in the morning taken in the restaurant, and pictures 2 and 3 are the beautiful Shennv Peak in the corridor at the door of the room. The scenery is very beautiful. The room is tidy and clean, and there is an electric blanket on the bed. The boss is very enthusiastic, and you can borrow hiking poles at the front desk. Finally, I recommend beef noodles. Although I forgot to take a photo, the ingredients are super rich.

I highly recommend this inn. I was exhausted after hiking from Ninong. When I arrived, the owner and the sister of the inn warmly entertained me by warming the fire and serving tea. They also helped me to bring my heavy bag to the room. The view from the inn room is invincible. Every morning when I get up and open the curtains, I can see the golden mountain in the sun. The food in the inn is also super delicious. You can eat authentic Cantonese and Hunan cuisine. My partner had altitude sickness on the last night. The owner cared about providing medicine and hot water in the middle of the night. Thank you very much! Come again next time!

The inn is located in Shangyubeng, facing the Shennv Peak with a great view. The owner is a good cook. We had breakfast and dinner at the inn, which tasted very good. There is a supermarket near the inn where we can buy things and fruits, which is very convenient. The inn can rent trekking poles for free. Overall, I am very satisfied.
