Wuyou Hotel

My sister and I took a ride-sharing service from Suzhou. The owner had contacted us in advance and sent the license plate number to the front desk, so we got there smoothly, passing through only two checkpoints – quite fast! We booked late, and only the first floor was left, but the door had floor-to-ceiling windows, leading directly to a viewing platform with a great view. The room had sandalwood incense and a dehumidifier, making it dry and comfortable. We ate lunch at the restaurant; the portions and food were great, especially the braised pork – absolutely delicious! The accommodation was close to several major attractions. In the afternoon, we visited nearby sights, walking along the mountain road to the cathedral. There was occasional fog or light rain in the mountains; it was slightly cool for the season, but not bad. The owner was very welcoming, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was quite plentiful, including hot multigrain porridge, fried rice, black and green tea, milk, juice, toast, various side dishes, grilled meat slices, eggs, and vegetable and meat buns, etc.
