Moshangyin Holiday Hotel Mount Mogan

My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep. However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.

The guesthouse is located on the mountain, very close to the Moganshan Scenic Area. It's a large property and has been operating for a while, so it's quite established. Service: They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all of which are delicious. There are also plenty of fruits and snacks available. The owner is exceptionally nice and helpful, even driving us to the scenic area. Cleanliness: Very clean. Facilities: The bathroom is spacious with a separate wet and dry area. The room is also very large and includes a private courtyard. Environment: Absolutely stunning! Surrounded by mountains, the scenery is incredible. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. It's definitely my top choice for my next visit to Moganshan!

This guesthouse is nestled in a mountain ravine, surrounded by bamboo groves. Both its exterior and room design are truly unique. It features a Japanese-style tea room and even a pastoral party setting. The rooms are largely decorated with natural wood, and with ceilings over 3 meters high, they offer a great sense of spaciousness, echoing the surrounding mountains and bamboo forests. The bed was soft and very comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast selection was also thoughtfully prepared. The common areas are arranged in a relaxed yet cozy way, just like a large living room at home, and there are plenty of entertainment facilities. Staying here, far from the hustle and bustle, taking a stroll through the mountain bamboo forest, sipping tea, and simply relaxing, feels wonderful. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

Overall, it was very good. The breakfast was delicious, and the B&B's location, though a bit far from town, was very quiet—perfect for those with a car.

The room was spacious and very clean. The afternoon tea was delicious, and the fruits were sweet. The service was excellent. The guesthouse itself has a lovely ambiance, and the location is great, making you feel surrounded by flowers and plants. The wooden decor is quite unique. I also heard they'll be offering travel photography packages soon. Thumbs up!

The entire B&B is beautifully decorated, and the host is absolutely wonderful! They even upgraded us to a room with a super large balcony, offering 270-degree mountain views. It felt so relaxing just to stay in and enjoy the scenery, no need to even go out to tourist spots. Finally, a shout-out to the complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and goodnight dessert – all delicious! 😋
