Moganxigu solarfri Resort

It took just over an hour to reach Xigu from Jiaxing. The entire property spans 4,300 acres, and a sightseeing ride on the hotel's mini-train reveals numerous villa clusters 🏡. During the May Day holiday, the hotel organized a rich variety of activities, including mini-train rides 🚞, cycling 🚴🏻‍♀️, bonfire marshmallow roasting 🍞, a Xigu music concert 🎶, a wooden playground for kids, and pet feeding. Of course, the wild rice cooked in the rapeseed fields was absolutely divine! 👍🏻 Regarding our stay, we had a family room with a large bed, a small bed, and a balcony. The room was spacious and clean, with complete amenities. It was very quiet at night, allowing for a solid 3 hours of deep sleep 😁. For dining, our first day's lunch was at Xiao Laoding Du Bao Ji, just a few hundred meters from the hotel in Xigu (the intersection is easy to find with clear signs). This old restaurant had excellent flavors, and I highly recommend their open-kitchen ordering style 👍🏻. There are also several other restaurants in Xigu near the hotel that can be found on Dazhong Dianping. After checking in, we didn't want to drive out, so we ate the buffet at the hotel's Shiye Restaurant. At 88 per person, it was also quite good. After the evening music concert and bonfire, the kiln-baked bread ensured we weren't hungry at all. The next day's lunch was the wild rice, and we even took a large box home! 😃 This place is suitable for children of all ages. The alpacas in the pet park are adorable, chasing you for carrots 🥕. The kids didn't want to leave the wooden playground, and family cycling is also an option. The evening concert, accompanied by the stunning sunset glow, makes you feel how wonderful life is. Of course, the hotel still needs to improve some details, such as adding more outdoor shaded rest areas, and observation decks by the rapeseed fields and parent rest areas in the playground.

This is a unique family-friendly resort with a quiet environment, nestled in the middle of a Sunac cultural tourism project. The transportation is super convenient; it's less than a ten-minute drive from the highway exit. The hotel offers bike rentals, and you can cycle around the entire valley in about an hour. There's a free mini-train service in both the morning and afternoon, taking twenty minutes for a loop around the valley, which is perfect for kids. Nearby, there's a petting zoo and a wooden structure playground, great for active children to burn off their excess energy. If dining at the hotel gets boring, you can find a meal a few hundred meters away or drive 7 minutes to a local town for more options, which is very convenient. The breakfast buffet is decent, nothing exceptional but not bad. Lunch is a bit expensive. The dinner buffet is 88 per adult, free for children under 1.2 meters, and 45 for those under 1.4 meters. It's average, but not overly pricey. Overall, the service is quite good.

Nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, this hotel offers fresh air and the sweet melodies of birds. The buildings are charmingly built into the hillside, creating a picturesque setting. Our room was spacious and clean, featuring a balcony with lounge chairs and a small round table. The bedding was very comfortable. The hotel staff were warm and friendly. The buildings are low-rise, mostly 2-3 stories, and since there's no elevator, one of the hotel's young men kindly helped us with our luggage. There's free parking both indoors and outdoors. While the breakfast and dinner buffets didn't have a huge variety, the food was fresh and delicious. The braised pork was particularly authentic, and breakfast even offered freshly ground coffee. The hotel grounds are quite extensive and include various climbing and exercise structures like posts, ropes, ladders, and frames, making it a great spot for team-building activities. In the evenings, a bonfire is lit in front of the lobby bar, and it's a lively scene with parents and their kids roasting dough, filling the air with a wonderful aroma. For those who prefer peace and quiet, stargazing is a must – the stars here shine much brighter than in the city.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The environment is beautiful and peaceful, and they have plenty of family-friendly activities. We had a fantastic time cooking outdoors during the day and baking bread in the evening – it was just delightful. The value for money is incredible. I'll definitely be booking here again next time!

Great for kids!

Overall, the hotel is quite good, and the voucher offered excellent value for money. The butler service was exceptional, basically fulfilling every request. The hotel environment is comfortable, with a nice overall design and good landscaping. Stepping out of the hotel and walking towards the pet park, the surrounding area has a charming, wild natural feel. The air was fresh and it was very quiet, so we slept wonderfully at night. The breakfast and dinner buffets didn't have a huge variety, but for the price point, you can't really expect more, so it was acceptable. We stayed on the third floor, and the shower water pressure was low and inconsistent. Although there were two types of pillows, both were too high, so we ended up asking for a children's pillow. The room cleanliness could also use some improvement.

Overall, the air around the hotel is fresh, and it's located at the foot of Moganshan, newly renovated and perfect for family getaways. I saw it recommended in a video. It gets busy during holidays, and there are plenty of activities for kids. You can bring pets, but they should really clean under the beds in the rooms a bit better. This place is great if you just want to relax and not go anywhere else.

Perfect for kids who love nature. My daughter adored the farm animals! The meals were light and used fresh ingredients, making it ideal for a family vacation.
