Moganshan Flower Homestay

Clean and comfortable. The complimentary fruit was fresh and delicious. The indoor fragrance was so soothing. The little animals were incredibly cute, well-cared for with no unpleasant smells, and very interactive – they weren't afraid of people at all. The homestay host's service was exceptionally attentive. As for breakfast, the wontons had a very generous meat filling, were absolutely delicious, and tasted wonderfully homemade.

The staff were friendly, but the hygiene was seriously lacking. For a B&B costing over 1200, we were shocked by the amount of visible dirt, dust, and even mold in various spots. Its only redeeming quality is probably the location.

The B&B was fantastic! The sika deer were so well-behaved and adorable, and there were even sheep. Our kids absolutely loved it. The owner was incredibly friendly, and breakfast was delicious too. The guesthouse even has its own orchard, with many of the fruits home-grown.

Great location and warm, attentive service. I particularly loved the clever design touches; the little animal figures that were refreshed daily added a lot of playful charm to our trip.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the B&B itself was impeccably clean with a very 'Instagrammable' aesthetic. Our room boasted breathtaking views, and we were delighted to see cute deer, sheep, and rabbits on the lawn. It truly creates a lovely, friendly environment, making it ideal for families with children.

We arrived a bit late that day, and the owner thoughtfully waited for our arrival. Upon entering the courtyard, we were immediately greeted by a sika deer, three little lambs, and two bunnies – what a delightful surprise and incredibly therapeutic! We spent a good while playing with them. The owner mentioned that it gets too hot for them during the day, so they prefer to stay indoors, but they all come out to cool off in the courtyard at night. This gave us the perfect opportunity to spend even more time with them. Lihua, the little deer, was incredibly gentle and spotlessly clean! During the day, she'd even push open the door to the lobby herself to sneak in for some air conditioning, haha! The three lambs were quite mischievous, but absolutely adorable! The hotel boasts excellent facilities and attentive service. Our room featured floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, offering absolutely stunning views.

We had a really comfortable night here ☺️. The hosts were incredibly warm and accommodating, always happy to help with anything. The courtyard features adorable little deer, lambs, and rabbits that you can feed biscuits to – they're all so well-behaved! 😆 The location is excellent; there's a charming path to walk to Yucun village, and it's also very convenient for driving.

Our deer-spotting adventure at Huashi!🦌 We spent a few days nestled in the mountains, and Moganshan in summer is simply breathtaking. Lush green trees🌳 stretch as far as the eye can see, with sunlight filtering through the leaves☀️ – it's truly the most restorative and healing experience. We finally arrived at the much-anticipated Huashi, and the owner was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. The courtyard is home to lambs, rabbits, a fleeting glimpse of guinea pigs, and of course, the little deer named 'Lihua'🦌. In the evening, bathed in the soft glow of the courtyard lights, Lihua would gently brush against our clothes and walk with us – it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale~ The overall Wabi-sabi design is stunning; every corner is incredibly photogenic. We stayed in the Hualu room, which offered floor-to-ceiling windows with direct mountain views. It rained on our check-in day yesterday, and watching the raindrops patter down made for a perfect excuse to spend a whole day leisurely relaxing inside the guesthouse. We even caught sight of a double rainbow🌈!!!! Every single moment here felt incredibly soothing and comforting. Breakfast on the second day was both delicious and plentiful. While waiting, we even chanced upon some deer in the back hill! The owner thoughtfully picked mulberry leaves for us to feed them. Lihua, in particular, had no unpleasant smell at all, which really shows how meticulously well-cared for she is. There's a swimming pool on the first floor. Our baby had just recovered from a cold a few days ago, so we couldn't let him play freely. We only allowed him to gently splash the water with his hands to get a little feel for it, but he was still absolutely delighted😚. I still have so many videos to edit, but for now, I just had to share some photos! I absolutely adore Huashi!

The B&B is conveniently located less than a 3-minute walk from Yucun Square, nestled halfway up the mountain. While it appeared slightly older than in the photos, the rooms themselves were still very clean. The owner's service was truly outstanding. They brought us peaches from their own garden, kindly installed a bed guard for our child, and even took us firefly catching at night – it completely exceeded our expectations! My 2-year-old, who absolutely adores feeding animals, was in her element with creatures everywhere she looked. The sika deer were incredibly gentle, and my child had such a wonderful time feeding them that we ended up canceling our planned trip to Yiyuan Farm. All in all, it was a very joyful experience. The only minor point to mention is that the breakfast selection was not particularly varied, and I found the flavors a bit on the simple side for my preference.
