The restaurant food was dreadful. We booked a 6pm table. My husband ordered fish and chips. The fish was very over cooked, peas were cold. The waiter argued with him but re did the order. This all took 1hour but we were the only ones in the restaurant. Never going to return to this Premier Inn.

Had some lovely dinners here with an amazing, friendly, prompt and efficient service from Steph and Sue. These ladies are definitely an asset to the hotel and restaurant, always providing service with a warm smile. Enjoyed the pie and fish and chips dish in particular.

The room was clean & spacious but my only complaint would be there was an odd smell in the room (as if something had been spilt on the carpet & left) & the bathroom smelt as though someone had been smoking in there. Although, this probably would have been impossible due to smoke detectors. I didn’t mention it to reception as I knew the hotel was full. The air con panel had seen better days but I was made aware of this upon check in. Special shout out to Steph in the restaurant who went out of her way to serve us quickly when she realised my son was very hungry. Great service.

We were at this hotel for a mere 10 hours as a place to put our heads down as a stopover. The hotel is lovely. Well kept, modern and looks to be in a lovely location. Breakfast was great. I wish I'd got his name but there was a gentleman working (weds 3rd) who was great. So friendly and brilliant at his job. All other staff we came across were lovely as well but he was one of those people that just stand out. I was so impressed with the butter and spreads stand...I nearly took a picture 😂 it's the small things that show attention to detail! The only downside is that 4 of us were sharing a family room and we couldn't get the air con working. The windows don't open for noise/safety and the room got warmer and warmer overnight meaning we didn't get much sleep as it was uncomfortable. It's a 24 hour reception so we should have asked for help. But we checked in at 11pm after a looong drive with a 5 year old and didn't want to start faffing about. Thank you to all.

The cleanest Premier Inn we have stayed in. All staff were extremely nice and helpful, especially Callum, Leighton and Priscilla! We ate in restaurant three times and food was excellent! The first two nights we stayed in accessible room which was ok but very dark and no bath, just a shower as fully booked but we were moved to a lovely light and quiet room with a bath to relax in after several hours walking for our last day and night without any quibble or problem. Nice hotel in a good central position for a weekend break for us. We thoroughly recommend this Premier Inn.

I found the service to be quite outstanding from the young lady on the desk that checked us in to our room. Smiley, efficient and went out of their way to make sure my children were spoken to. Absolutely credit where credit is due as this person was excellent.
