The Ladybower Inn

A new team at the inn but they have everything running smoothly and everyone was so friendly to us and both our dogs. Breakfasts were brilliant. We’ll definitely be back.

First of all the staff was nice and helpful and that’s important, so no issue there. However, rooms without breakfast? Really? If you do accommodation do it thoroughly and do it right. This isn’t! £138 without breakfast for a mediocre room and no breakfast is a big NO for us. Way too expensive for what it is and sorry to say, no we won’t be back, and no I won’t recommend. You need to seriously up your game.

Great place and location to stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was absolutely fine for what we needed, pub itself is really nice. One downside was they stop serving food around 20:00 understandably die to lack of demand so be aware if you arrive late.

Went here today and ordered 2 steak and ale meals at £22 each which was expensive but we went for it anyway. The pie came and the pastry was rock hard and dry and stuck to the sides of the dish. Not much filling inside either. I told the girl and she spoke to someone in the back and she then came out and said she would give us 10% off. I wish now I had refused to eat it at the start instead of trying to be polite. Won't go again and wouldn't recommend

Stunning location beautiful food, friendly helpful staff ,couldnt fault it.

Called in as we'd always wanted to try this pub Mmm We were the only ones in which was strange There was a musty smell but we decided to try anyway We ordered our meal Steak n ale pie was average nothing special for the price Must say the singing chef was annoying I've no objections for people being happy in there work but the loud singing from the kitchen was relentless Maybe he should think if Customers want to hear that ! Wouldn't return..lacks atmosphere and warmth sorry

Poor standard of accommodation. Very noisy.
