Poor lighting, couldn’t figure out how to just turn on 1 light. Bathroom lights to bright to keep light on all night. You should install small night light in bathroom.
Refrigerator too small and u need coffee maker in room
Beds comfortable, bedding cozy, and quiet room.
Thanks for great weekend in Des Moines.

This was a lovely hotel, very close to the Skywalk, which is an amazing walking network, connecting much of the downtown area - safe, secure, and climate controlled. I was in a tournament at the Iowa Events Center and it was an easy 15 minute walk - no car, no hassle!
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Des Moines has a lot of construction going on.

Check in gentleman was less than friendly. No smile, nothing that made us feel welcome in any way. Thankfully the hotel was convenient and beautiful because his customer service skills, we may not have considered returning.

Overall stay was 9/10! The area around the property is a little sketchy as there is a liquor store a few doors down and questionable people standing outside. The hotel itself is really nice and the staff was very friendly.

Loved the decor. The staff was great. We had an event at the Civic Center and easy walk to there. There is a convenience store a couple doors down. Morning coffee was from a local coffee shop for a nice touch. We ate at the onsite restaurant, and it was excellent, especially the drinks! Two options for parking, one underground that are super convenient. Will stay here again.

Excellent Staff , Bar and proximity to what we were there for. $ 25 daily parking across the street is a little steep but it is in Downtown Des Moines . Nice Hotel and I would stay there agin .

Everything was great from check in to check out. Perfect location to things going on downtown. Will be my go to place to stay whenever I'm in Des Moines
