"Stayed here in January this year as my normal hotel was fully booked. On arrival I was confused as to where to enter as there is two entrances, one to a restaurant which was closed so thought hotel was closed, the smell on arrival was awful! It was a mixture of spices and incense sticks.. not in a good way. I stayed in a ground floor room, bed was ok apart from was on wheels and had laminate floor so every time you move it moves on the floor. I decided to order food and went for fish and chips. This was the worst food without doubt I have ever eaten. The fish was so over cooked there was actually no fish left on the inside of the batter. The chips were dry and tasteless. I have attached a photo as per below. The chap in the restaurant next door which I think is part of the hotel was so rude! He didn’t speak when asked questions and threw my food on the counter. The service was terrible. On the night it was very windy and there was a lot of ‘things’ stored outside of my window which was making a lot of noise all through the night. I didn’t stay for breakfast as I was leaving at 7am and they didn’t open early enough. This was similar for other guests staying. I would genuinely avoid this hotel. I certainly won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anybody else."

"Location as expected as we know the area, on arrival the outside of the hotel looked nothing like the advertised pictures, run down to sat the least. Inside the hotel is very dated and is in desperate need of updating, the whole hotel smelt fusty and clearly used for contract workers. Will never book again."
