Service at front desk is awfully slow. Wifi out of service for 2 days. No updates available...

The location of the hotel is very central. Short distances to the Bauhaus museums and the theater. Good and rich breakfast buffet. Free parking near the hotel. We'd love to come back.

The worst hotel we ever visit. First impression... The receptionist was totally confused. He said I should pay 111 euros so the system could "work" and tommorow more than 300 euros... so totally more than 400 euros... strange. But my reservation on email and the deal with the Raddison Blu Bookingline on the phone yesterday was 187 euros for both rooms for one night. I didn't even get a receipt after paying the strange 111 euros. We booked two rooms for one night. One for our kids and one for us parents. Our kids maindoor can not lock, 1 card for the kids door does not work, the toiletdoor cant lock, and the aircondition is defect in the whole hotel. I complained about the aircondition and the doorlock and the receptionist just look at me like "I can do anything about it". Then he says "I can give you a fan and about the lock I can not give you another room". So he just want our kids to sleep with a unlocked door. I return the fans because they have absolutely no effect. And the toilet in our room wasn't even flushed out. The minibar is empty also. The rooms is very disgusting and we even found a Bettwanze on the bed, and bloodstain on two pillows and some other human liquid on the other pillow.... i can continue.. Your website says that there is aircondition in your hotel, and we did pay for that. The beds are terrible and so so hard. What a totally nightmare after 12 hours of driving and then we just want to rest before we are going to drive 8 more hours. We are speechless So tommorow when me and my wife and our kids finally goes home from this awfull hotelwill I not pay the full price. This I ridiculous and not worth the money at all. The hotel rooms look like something from the 1970 and haven't been opdated for decades. There is something strange and creepy about this hotel TODAY when we wanted to check out they want me to pay more than 140 euros. But i already paid 111 euros WITHOUT reciept (i only needed to pay total 186 euros) They say that I have not payd 111 euro but I got a confirmation from my bank. And they didnt know who was here 22:33 yesterday when I paid 111 euro. I have no receipt on anything. After more than 1 hour fight with the staff they did remove the bill and we did pay 35 euro dor the night. Best... regards

We stayed in this hotel for one night and reached the hotel walking about 10mins from the Dessau train station. We are Radisson Premium members but were not given a room upgrade due to unavailability. That can happen of course, but we were then not given anything else to compensate for that, not even complimentary drinks or so, so we did not feel recognized at all as Premium members at this hotel. At reception, there was only one desk with staff, so no priority service for Premium members, and often long queues of people wanting to check-in or -out. The room itself was ok and clean, although it felt a bit worn-out and could do with a nice make-over (especially in a city so famous for its architecture). Staff were professional. Breakfast was ok as well, with a decent selection of food and drinks. We probably would only stay at this hotel again if we would know that our Premium membership would be more appreciated.

Not really a “ Radisson” experience when we arrived - quiet and soulless. Asked specifically for a quiet room and were given a street facing room with trams! We got it changed quite easily but odd as we got the distinct impression that the hotel was pretty empty. Room was a good size, bright and modern but bits of the furniture were damaged and taped up. The bar was bleak to say the least and closed Sunday evening as was the restaurant!

Nice reception area. Only one member of staff in the kitchen for the evening meal so took a while although food was decent once it arrived. Gym / wellness center only opens between 3-9pm - apparently this is for cleaning. Not sure how it needs so much time to clean it since it appears to be a fairly small workout space. Most hotels offer much more generous opening times. The offering is not much use to us though as we were working from 3pm. A bit annoying really. The receptionist on duty at the time was not very helpful - had a take it or leave it kind of attitude. Area is pretty bleak although we did find a little Christmas cheer at the local festive market a short walk into the town. Bedroom good size and nice shower but overall a bit tired around the edges and one of the beds kept sliding away from the wall….We managed to improve this by wedging a bathroom floor mat under the leg of the bed. Overall the business plan for this hotel needs some rethinking….it could be a lot better with some updates and just a few tweaks.

Insgesamt ist das ein ordentliches Hotel: großes Zimmer, viel Stauraum, vergleichsweise großes und vor allem sauberes Badezimmer, gutes Frühstück mit aufmerksamem Service. Wenige Fußminuten vom Bahnhof und Fahrrad-Abstellmöglichkeiten. Klares Manko ist die Klimaanlage, die quasi nicht existent ist. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir gesagt, dass es eine zentrale Klimaanlage für das ganze Haus sei und mir wurde ein Zimmerventilator angeboten. Ich war sehr froh, dass es nachts ordentlich abkühlte und ich das Fenster offen lassen konnte, sonst wäre es sehr stickig geworden.

Trotz Außentemperaturen von 30 °C Ende Juli 24 arbeiten in den drei gebuchten Zimmern die Klimaanlagen nicht mehr. Eine Rückfrage ergab, dass die Anlagen angeblich zentral gesteuert werden und nicht manuell eingeschaltet werden können. Unerträgliche Temperaturen im Zimmer auf der Südseite waren die Folge, um die Kosten für den Energieaufwand zu sparen. Wir sind jetzt das vierte Jahr in Folge im Hotel, nach zwei Jahren wurden die defekten Safes in den Zimmern ausgetauscht, das Hotel müsste dringend renoviert werden. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, mitunter zu wenig Personal vorhanden.

Wir waren zu dritt, geschäftlich im August 2024 dort. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut, das Frühstück reichhaltig. Dieses zentrale Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, fußläufig sind die meisten Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichbar, insbesondere die Fußgängerzone. Kleine Abwertung, die Gläser vom Vorabend standen am Morgen noch auf den Tischen im Aussenbereich, das sieht nicht gut aus…

Der Zufall führte uns diesmal über Dessau und veranlasste uns so im Radission Blu Quartier zu nehmen. Und es wurde ein positiver Aufenthalt in diesem schönen, am Friedensplatz gelegenen, Hotel. Netter Empfang, trotz hohem Gästeaufkommen, schönes großzügiges Zimmer mit Blick zum Park, tolles Bad mit genügend Ablageflächen und ein komfortables Bett. Was wünscht man sich da noch mehr? Vielleicht ein Restaurant mit schönem Menü und unaufdringlichem Service? Und siehe da, auch dieser Wunsch ist hier erfüllt. Aufmerksames Personal, ausreichende Menüauswahl und schmackhaft zubereitete Speisen. Nur bei der Weinauswahl haben wir eine etwas umfangreichere Auswahl vermisst. Die Parksituation ist, durch die kostenpflichtigen Tiefgarage, bestens gelöst und wir können den Aufenthalt dort wärmstens empfehlen.
