The property was everything you hope it would be - the staff were fantastic and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the reservation was exactly as requested, the amenities were plentiful, clean and well kept and complimentary breakfast buffet was better than most other places we stay - especially the coffee selection. I would recommend and not hesitate to stay again! The beach is an added bonus - very quiet and peaceful. Quick birthday trip for hubby and I to experience the local Dambo Troll art installations. Do not hesitate, it was a wonderful experience made better by the fantastic staff! - Tip them well:)

Stayed with my daughter and 2 grandsons. Had a patio room with direct access to the beach. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. Have stayed before and will definitely stay again. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

The room was perfect and clean! Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was spectacular! Lake view was beautiful. The only negative was the cool breeze which was not controllable. Thank you!

We loved the beautiful huge room, the amazing view of the lake, the ground level room to walk right out to the lake. Best room we have ever stayed in. The breakfast was sooo good. Loved that we ate on real plates with real silverware! And the laundry was only $1.00 a load.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lodge on Detroit Lake. The staff was genuinely helpful and pleasant. The Lodge is steps from the lake and the back faces west, I can imagine it's a beautiful sight on an evening with a colorful sunset!

Cozy and quaint. We love the Lodge. On the backside is the lake on the front side is the highway and a train but surprisingly quiet overall. Great staff. The Spa Within is a must visit. The keep coggee brewing all day which is a big deal for me 😆

The front of property could use some sprucing up. Interior was great and as expected but exterior of property left something to be questioned due to the run down appearance.

This Best Wester was beautiful, It had a majestic fireplace and seating area that overlooked the lake. Our spacious room was a lakeside walk-out, with seating on a lighted patio. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff were hard working and very friendly. A wonderful experience.
