Novotel Devonport ★★★★
"room is clean and quite. amenities are good. not easy to park."
Wilder Tasmania ★★
"This place is stunning! We loved the location and chilled atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were so cosy we didn’t want to leave."
Nightelier Devonport Gateway Hotel ★★★★
"The location is central, with many restaurants and a supermarket nearby for convenient shopping. Staying on the basement floor is relatively quiet, and the staff are polite. Due to a special incident, late check-out is also possible."
Comfort Inn Devonport ★★★
"Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Easy to find and very pleasant check in. Would definitely stay here again. Location is excellent in a safe and very quiet neighbourhood."
The Formby Hotel ★★
"Perfect location as it's close to everything in Devonport and all walking distance."
The Cove Tasmania ★★★★
"Most relaxing and scenic accommodation and place. Exceptional amenities for everything you could need for the stay. The sounds of the waves and watching the sunset and rise over the water is beautiful. Best selection of pillows- coming from a very fussy pillow person! I can't wait for my next stay Thanks Kim and Bruce- look forward to seeing the new accommodation "
Abel Tasman Cabins Devonport ★★★
"Very tired looking and out of date accommodation. Reminded me of what had in the 1980s. Furniture appeared to have been gathered ad hoc. Strangely massive lounge space and cramped bedroom. If it were meant to be "deluxe", I am glad not to have tried "standard" it "basic"!"
Barclay Motor Inn ★★★
"Easy check in and out, very clean and kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils 👍👍👍, love the house-small and cozy."
Argosy Motor Inn ★★★
"Too expensive for what you get"

Hawley House
"Wonderful old world experience with character and comfort. Drinks in the drawing room overlooking lawn pond and sea; eclectic decor from 19 th century to mid 20th; proper dining room service for breakfast and comfy room with balcony. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway. Great for a wedding!"
The Grand on Macfie
"It was a wonderful experience to enjoy breakfast in a 123-year-old house. I booked the only breakfast during this trip to Australia and it was worth the money. The room and balcony on the second floor can see the cruise ship of Devonport and the Light of Tasmania. The room is very retro, the front desk is very enthusiastic, and it is a very distinctive hotel."
Compass Hut
"We were so looking forward to staying in a tiny house as we live off grid ourselves and were interested to see how others do it. Unfortunately we were disappointed to say the least. We stayed at Colonial Blue. The exterior of the tiny house looked quite run down and the cottage garden was very overgrown and unkempt. We were aware that the bathroom was in a separate tiny house but didn't realise that you had to go down several stairs, along a gravel path and then up more stairs to the bathroom. Made night time trips to the loo awkward to say the least. There was also quite an odour coming from the loo. We are used to composting toilets and the ones we use do not smell!! The bathroom itself was lovely but no bathrobes as advertised on the website. Disappointed that the bed wasn't in the loft area as that would have given more room inside. Also a microwave would be a nice addition for heating up takeaways or prepared food. Kitchen was well stocked but no chopping board! The outside furniture was not sturdy and we had to be careful sitting on the chairs as they felt like they were going to give way at any moment. All in all we had a very disappointing experience considering all the wonderful reviews I read before I booked. For what was offered I felt it was overpriced."
Silver Ridge Retreat
"Beautiful peaceful location below Mount Roland. Great cabin style accommodation that has everything you need - good size fridge. Great heated swimming pool in sauna style pine building with the sun pouring in through the windows. Beautiful sunset reflections off Mt Roland in farm pond. Nice welcome and lots of helpful information. Sheffield just 19 mins away for supplies. One hour 15 to Cradle Mountain. Thoroughly recommend."
Manna Hill Farm
"Stunning location, superb hospitality and attention to detail, friendly hosts, thank you. Positioned as a great base for Cradle Mountain visits, close to the nice town of Sheffield. And close to Launceston."
