The Formby Hotel ★★
"Great place and nice proximity to both spirit of Tasmania cruise and stores."
Novotel Devonport ★★★★
"room is clean and quite. amenities are good. not easy to park."
Nightelier Devonport Gateway Hotel ★★★★
"Very basic motel. It will be very noisy if there are *** guests at night. The hotel itself is very old and there is a casino downstairs. It doesn't seem very safe. Be careful when booking."
Comfort Inn Devonport ★★★
"Generally pretty good. Room seems new and clean. I found the air-conditioning a bit noisy especially when it's first turned on. The dryer is also noisy, the whole yard could hear it. Everything was lovely."
The Cove Tasmania ★★★★
"We had a wonderful experience at The Cove. From the start, the customer service was exceptional. Kim gave us a warm and friendly welcome, followed by an informative tour of the property. All the staff were delightful; helpful, approachable, really cheerful. The property itself was perfectly clean, well-maintained, and set in a stunning location. The grounds were immaculate, with beautiful walks offering spectacular views. Spotting the cute penguins was a total bonus! Directions were clear and easy to follow, making The Cove easy to find. The cabin was incredibly comfortable, with a cosy bed that ensured a restful stay. We also loved what Kim and Bruce are doing with the extensions to the property. It’s exciting to see how much care and thought they’re putting into enhancing the experience for their guests. The Christmas gift bag was a lovely surprise; generous, and delicious. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend The Cove for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting."
Argosy Motor Inn ★★★
"The hotel is very close to Devonport, and you can park your car at the door of the room. It is cleaner and tidier than expected, and there is a microwave and a small refrigerator. The hotel also has its own dining bar, where you can have breakfast or have a drink."
Abel Tasman Cabins Devonport ★★★
"Very tired looking and out of date accommodation. Reminded me of what had in the 1980s. Furniture appeared to have been gathered ad hoc. Strangely massive lounge space and cramped bedroom. If it were meant to be "deluxe", I am glad not to have tried "standard" it "basic"!"
The Grand on Macfie ★★★★
"The antique hotel has a very textured appearance and interior. There are many antique furniture in the guest rooms and corridors, but this also makes the already small space seem crowded. If you have not stayed in this kind of hotel, it is still worth experiencing"
Wilder Tasmania ★★
"The hotel was beautiful and I saw the starry sky that I couldn't see in the city. But be aware that if you arrive at the hotel later, make sure you receive the password and if you do not receive it, you can also ask for help by pressing the doorbell at reception. There is no staff stationed in this guesthouse, and many matters have to be handled by yourself. The photos are only 10 extra I'll give you some photos If you have no experience with a stove, you should note that the room is not heated enough and it can be very cold at night. But fortunately, there is a warm mat on the bed, so it won't be too cold when sleeping."

Hawley House
"We had three delightful days at Hawley House. Lovely walks in the extensive gardens, or to the dog-friendly beach, our labradoodle interacting with the resident dogs, who treated her like canine royalty. Delicious breakfasts, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. We couldn't have been happier. Will definitely stay at Hawley House again."
