Amazing place. We loved it here. We left to go to another island and, after 24 hours, returned to Ameera as we felt so at home here. The hotel manager is warm, gentle, funny and does everything possible to make the holiday amazing. Thank you so much. Chef Sir made special meals for our vegan daughter. The snorkelling trips were wonderful. We felt so relaxed, safe and looked after. Strongly recommend Ameera - our best family holiday ever

Excellent hotel, very clean, the room was cleaned every day, 3 liters of drinking water were provided for a family of 2 adults and 2 children every day. Very polite and responsive staff. We went on an evening fishing excursion from the hotel. We caught 10 fish. The next day, we had 5 fish fried for dinner at the hotel restaurant and the buffet was provided for free. It was very tasty.

Joy was our first experience of the Maldives, our expectations were high having seen all the reports and reviews, we were not disappointed. Joy was the first of two island destinations on this visit, the second being Siyam World. Everything went swimmingly, the arrival logistics went like clockwork despite a late after dark arrival at Male. The speedboat transfer was slick and exciting, it was just the two of us onboard. The arrival greeting was unexpected and delightful. Upgraded to an over water villa our holiday got off to a great start! The beauty of Joy stems from its intimate feel as it’s quite a small place, 15 min walking will get you anywhere. The villa was fabulous having everything you could wish for. The mini bar came in very useful. The room was serviced twice daily to a pristine standard. A big mention to Afsal a big “Gooner (Arsenal) fan” who was the welcome regular visitor responsible. Food in the “Market” was outstanding, beyond our expectation and the folks who looked after their guests were pleasant, attentive and considerate. Another big mention at this point for Kudey he was always there with a smile and a top up. The small intimate feel of the island really suited us well everywhere you looked there’s a photo opportunity. Beaches are white and surprisingly never too hot to walk on despite 32c every day, apparently it’s because they’re coral rather than rock based. A final big mention for Gaia, our host. Every guest gets a host as a first point of contact usually by WhatsApp, this is an amazing help and time saver. We were very lucky to have Gaia who was amazing, always there when you wanted her, really good at what she did, a lovely person. If you like your paradise to be quiet, intimate and luxurious, this is the place to go. We loved it.

I want to leave a review about my stay at the Holiday Home Dhiffushi guest house in December 2024. I stayed for 7 days, it was very cozy, a small 2-storey building with a veranda for breakfast. The guys are great, they try their best to please, they offer a choice of breakfast: toast, scrambled eggs with tuna and sausage, or a Maldivian breakfast. I often chose the Maldivian one, these are flatbreads, coconut with tuna, beans in sauce. Coffee or juice. You can safely write to the director of Itu, he will help with everything, a very kind and helpful young man. If you want to save a little compared to other hotels on the island, then feel free to choose this guest house, a wonderful location, close to a deep beach, peace and quiet, you will definitely be satisfied. Upon request, they provide a sun lounger and an umbrella to the beach. Water is included 1.5 liters per person. The beds are comfortable, the linen is snow-white and soft. The furniture is new.
