This is our 4th visit to Papillon. The staff are amazing here. The animation team have such energy, the water aerobics is like nothing else. Everyone is always busy working, from the gardeners to the housekeepers to the pool attendants. Joseph and Raphael on the bar were excellent as always. Abdullah the pool attendant is always on hand with towels and keeps the pool clean. The rooms are always kept super clean with fresh linen and bottled water daily. The rooms now have a fridge and kettle (but you need your own teabags etc). The food and drink is great, lots of choices. The beach is stunning with pure white sand. Love this hotel and recommend to others

The resort is set in a wooded area right next to a white sand beach the room is of good size with a ceiling fan, AC, TV, fridge you get a couple of bottles of water daily room can be cleaned almost every day the bed is nice and firm there was a balcony with views of the local monkeys the area has nothing as such food for a All inclusive buffet is Good Dinner has a no beach wear policy but you can wear chino shorts staff are pleasant and friendly the beach is ok but can get a bit of hassle from the local traders transfer can be arrange by the hotel UBER is available also evening entertainment isn't that great my 1st week was very quiet with not many guests i would go back for the right deal

This is really nice hotel, Location is wonderful. Hotel staffs from reception, cleaner, restaurant, bar, pool attendant, are marvelous / helpful and well trained. Rates are better than other nearby on beach hotels. Entertainment program is good too especially Water aerobics Food variety and quality is outclassed. You can go to nearby island with 5 mins boat ride and do snorkeling. Two suggestions: a) They should add stand fan in the room b) Generator should have coverage for AC in the room as well Overall very good experience at Papillon Word of caution : Ensure if you negotiate with Private JETSKI guys (near hotel), monitor and agree time. They really tell you 15 mins but finish in 8-10 mins.

This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. Lovely room with a balcony overlooking the gardens and pool. Pool was fabulous and very clean. It was cleaned every evening. Fan pool bat. Restaurants served a huge variety of food. Breakfast and lunch close to the pool area. Evening nearer to reception. Nothing was too much trouble.

This is a lovely place to stay right by the beautiful white sandy beach. Rooms are cool and comfortable, buffet meals have a good selection of food with plenty of veggie options, pool is clean and gorgeous surrounded by palm trees. What merits a full 5 star review are the staff - everyone is so friendly, cheerful and helpful - special shout out to Jimmy and Elvis in the restaurant - nothing was too much trouble. And hotel massage/manicure salon was brilliant - amazing prices! Thank you everyone - loved our stay.

Just came back from a short break here. The staff are helpful and friendly. Good selection of food each day, all prepared fresh. Lovely pool and great views. Diani beach is beautiful and the water is lovely but you will be hassled by locals trying to sell you things pretty much constantly. Monkeys are very cute but mischievous, and will try to take belongings. Would definitely consider coming back as was a brilliant experience

Service was very poor .Most staff are not friendly . Noticed gate security was very rude and . Mr. Fredrick from swimming pool bar was very professional and warm along with the rest swimming pool bar staff . rooms were not well cleaned during check in and you have to leave the door open to remove the bad odor
