Coconuco Beach Palomino
"Our host, Carolina, was a gem! The grounds were beautiful and home to many species of wildlife. The food was fantastic, and the staff was very helpful. We loved the pool, sauna, and walks on the beach (during low tide). Seeing the snow caps from the water was awe-inspiring. Highly recommended."
Aite Eco Resort
"We liked this place s lot. It is well kept and the staff is friendly. It is on the beach with services like yoga (execrllent with. Danish lady and massage. Andersen in the reception very good service .. it is eco so expect no aircon or hot water - and still it get a 5"
Naio Hotel y Villas by OxoHotel
Palomino Sunrise
"You don't get 5* rating because you sent a booking confirmation with a story begging for 5* because you support a good cause, of which there is nothing to be found back while staying. So, only 4 from me because it is still a good place to stay. We booked the fancy looking deluxe bungalow but changed for our second night to the stone huts which have an air conditioning unit. The bungalow only had a fan. It also turned out that we payed 30k more than a standard bungalow because we had a 'minibar'. Well, that minibar is an empty small fridge... which we turned off as we had nothing to cool. Breakfast, albeit a bit small is of good quality. Free coffee until the pot is empty... During both afternoons it rained heavily which resulted in power cuts, leaving the airco useless. A generator kicks in to supply the kitchen and wifi. The kitchen is quite good as in the second night we had diner there. The rain made it more or less impossible to go out. The bed in both rooms were small, with not very fit matrasses. During our whole trip in Colombia we only slepped in doubles that are maximum 140 cm wide. Why? Don't they make them any bigger here? 🤔"
Casa Dibulla Hotel Boutique
"We loved the stay here very much. Luz Marina is the best helped us with everything, the amazing attention and to say of the Chef! Literal 100 of 10 everything was delicious and helped us with a cake for my birthday sister that made super fast chocolate incredible!!! Super recommended!"
Uuttaaka Eco-Hotel
"It is a wonderful place, quiet, safe, clean, with delicious food, comfortable beds and a beautiful view 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Its incredible architecture, they are beehive-type eco-habs equipped with all the comforts, a natural illuminated and safe mangrove path to reach this beautiful place. Thank you for making our stay and rest a wonderful experience ❤️ Everyone is wonderfully kind and warm."
Hostal El Bohío
Casa Colibri Palomino
One Santuario Natural
"It's a beautiful place, very comfortable, quiet, and friendly, but they don't have any real options for vegans or vegetarians. The food portions are very small and don't meet nutritional requirements, and the food is very expensive."

Casa del Pavo Real Boutique Hotel Yoga & Spa
"Amazing hotel with stunning gardens. We were only here for 1 night but wished we had longer. The room was simple but had a mosquito net which was perfect for the location, lots of greenery around so only what you would expect. We ate in the restaurant at night and were very surprised at the standard of food, delicious 😊 Joined in a yoga class in the morning which was hard but fun. Very close to the beach / bars"
Huku Beach Hostel Palomino
"Some of the reviews on this hotel are incredibly harsh to the point I almost cancelled due to fear, maybe things were different before but I had a great experience here despite having high standards. The rooms were finished to high spec, the service was good and fast and the hotel offers a peaceful quiet atmosphere (something not so common in Palomino or in the Caribbean region in general). If you want to be close to Palomino town this isn't the best choice for you as it's a little further out but that's why it's peaceful! The restaurant is just okay I'd say, it's a little pricey and the food is good but not spectacular. The cocktails are very good though! "
Hotel Chiniu
"Great place, very large garden, 2 pools, lots of amenities, quiet. If you look for a place with more chances to socialise and a better restaurant, this is not it: you should book a hotel or a hostel further west. But if u look for a quiet place with plenty of room to relax Chiniuu is great. We had a with a pool right in front of the door, and a large porch with a table to sit and chill or work remotely. Wifi and Restaurant are meh, the rest, considering that it is a 3 Stars, is great"
Villa Eden
Makao Beach Hotel
"We stayed 6 nights at Makao Hotel. Anderson and the entire team made us very welcome from arrival to departure. The sounds of the sea crashing on the beach is amazing and lovely to help you fall asleep and to wake up to. Anderson sorted is out taxi on departure , a guide to take us river tubing and tips for local restaurants. There is no air con in the upstairs rooms but you don’t need it the breeze flows through so it keeps cool enough. And we weren’t bothered by insects."
