Naio Hotel y Villas by OxoHotel ★★★
Dreamer Palomino ★★
"Gorgeous Resort Like Paradise Located a few steps away from the beach and pool is hugely in the middle, great vibes! Lots of wonderful restaurants to go eat at, very diverse. Cute little surf town, walkable, Centrally located! "
AMĀRA BEACH ECO HOTEL ★★★
"I stayed at RCH with my husband and two young children (6 and 8 years) five nights in January 2024. Upon arrival, one of the owners Paul offered our family an upgrade for a small fee - specifically, he upgraded us to a family suite, which comprises two interconnecting rooms (each with own bathroom). This configuration was our favourite configuration in all of Colombia, as previously we had been losing sleep by sharing two double beds between the four of us (the standard family room setup in the other hotels we stayed in). Thank you Paul for thinking of us and making this happen. Rooms - we were in interconnecting suites 3 and 4. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished and sleep quality is high (you can hear the waves!) The beds, pillows and linen were extremely comfortable, and a mosquito need is hung around the bed in case you would like it (though we didn’t actually see any mosquitoes). The bathrooms open-air and extremely lovely. L’Occitane essentials are provided. Hot water is plumbed in (quite unusual in these parts!), including at the outdoor beach shower. Vibes and location - the location is approx. a 2.5 hour, easy drive from Santa Marta. In terms of vibes, there is a lovely pool, bar and restaurant scene overlooking the water. The beach scenario is chalk and cheese as compared with Santa Marta (where we stayed for two nights). Here, there are no nuisances such as motorised watersports, touts setting up jewellery stands in front of you, people grabbing your feet and not letting go in order to give you a massage (all happened in Santa Marta). And while I don’t want to unduly disparage Santa Marta - the beach is truly stunning and we still had an amazing time - this is a much quieter experience, with only a few others on the beach at at time, and nobody selling things. Suitability for families - absolutely yes! Bring your children here. Just happy days on the beach - and more! Children are warmly received and welcomed. In fact, Paul went out of his way to arrange a special visit from a macaw for the children at the hotel! Between the beach and pool, and types of activities on offer, our children were extremely happy and entertained. I would like to add a special note that the people who designed the menu really “get kids”, and there are many options that our kids just loved. At one point they were fighting over the pasta al horno (I think that’s what it was called! The pasta with cheese). Interestingly, I thought the hotel was still romantic and perfect for couples. Paul and Carlos are nailing it! Activities - we were truly touched by the effort Carlos went to in planning our activities. We told Paul (in the first instance, then Carlos) what our interests were, and they curated a little itinerary for us. The flamingo experience was truly world-class and I hope that this attraction will be developed sustainability if and when it becomes more popular! Fingers crossed. But pre-kids, hubby and I saw flamingoes in four countries - Chile, E"
Coconuco Beach Palomino ★★★★
"This is a beautiful newly refurbished hotel in a beautiful location! We stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 children. The pool and sauna are gorgeous, rooms well equipped with air conditioning and everything you need including fridges and huge TVs. Breakfast and food is amazing and the staff are super helpful and attentive. Carolina couldn’t have been more helpful. We both had couples massages which were also amazing and a must!! I was worried about the location but it’s a 10 minute walk along the beach into palomino and we walked back both nights in the dark. Beautiful hotel in great location. Would thoroughly recommend to families and couples who do not want to be too close to the party or backpacker scene. Would return here if we were coming back"
Casa Dibulla Hotel Boutique ★★★
"This hotel, which is just literally over the road to the sea sports a cozy inner yard with two swimming pools and air conditioned rooms which all have a roof terrace where you can chill out during the days or when you are not in the sea or the pool. The food is incredibly good (heads up to the chef!) and the staff is extremely friendly. There are ample opportunities for sight seeing nearby, whether in Riohacha, Manaure or Cabo de la Vela. 100% recommendation!"
Aite Eco Resort ★★★
"An incredible stay in a beautiful location that truly lets you connect with nature. The rooms are excellent, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for a relaxing experience. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it is easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Aite is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to recharge and enjoy anything from the beach or pool to amazing dining and beautiful nature."
Territorio Magico ★★★
"Territorio mágico a true little place in heaven. It is a unique experience with nature, life, and family. The beauty of the people, the natives, the nature and all that surrounds it is like no other when you arrive you feel that nature is in gratitude with all of us and that there is no limit to freedom and happiness. I truly believe it’s the best get away place I have ever been to. I truly recommend you visit this paradise in the Guajira Colombia."
Huku Beach Hostel Palomino ★★
"Some of the reviews on this hotel are incredibly harsh to the point I almost cancelled due to fear, maybe things were different before but I had a great experience here despite having high standards. The rooms were finished to high spec, the service was good and fast and the hotel offers a peaceful quiet atmosphere (something not so common in Palomino or in the Caribbean region in general). If you want to be close to Palomino town this isn't the best choice for you as it's a little further out but that's why it's peaceful! The restaurant is just okay I'd say, it's a little pricey and the food is good but not spectacular. The cocktails are very good though! "
One Santuario Natural ★★★★★
"Although the place is very beautiful and offers an excellent disconnect with nature, with a spectacular Palomino river and clean and cosy rooms, the menu lacks variety. In particular, breakfast included in the price is poor: it has limited options and minimum amounts, inadequate for the price paid. I visited the place to celebrate my birthday and, although it is not an obligation of the hotel, there was no detail for the birthday, just like a "good birthday" greeting. It is very good to get to Palomino by taxi and take a tuk-tuk from there to the hotel."

Makao Beach Hotel
"Perfect beach location. Nice clean room and good food. Drinks are expensive"
Palomino Sunrise
"The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-cared, which ensured a repair repos. The pool, though not very large, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm climate. The hostel is also located very close to the main road, where all the shopping, restaurants and access to the beach are located, which makes it easy to move and enjoy the best of Palomino. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, and it is very good to listen to music at high levels at high hours, which ensures a repair and a rest without interruptions. It is important to take into account the presence of mosquitoes in the area, so I would recommend taking repellent to avoid trouble. Despite this, our experience was excellent, and would certainly recommend the hostel for those looking for a quiet and cosy place in Palomino."
Primaluna Palomino
Casa del Pavo Real Boutique Hotel Yoga & Spa
"The location was good, close to the beach but a bit far off from the centre. The food was good & affordable. Beds were incredibly comfy. Most of the staff were great. Very much like others have mentioned, it is very chill. I was travelling solo and met 2 other solo girls which made the experience even better. I was there for 2 nights and was upset that they didn't clean the shared washroom during that time and the dorm room doesn't lock."
