We are currently staying at this hotel for 11 nights as a family of four, and unfortunately the experience has not lived up to expectations for what is marketed as a 5-star resort. It was advertised as offering unlimited à la carte dining, but we've only been able to make one booking through the app. The hotel added one more manually, but that still leaves us with just two à la carte meals across our entire stay. This simply isn’t good enough – especially compared to other 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at in Turkey, including other Barut resorts. It’s been frustrating and disappointing to feel that some guests seem to have easier access to bookings or a different level of service. This inconsistency has made the experience unnecessarily stressful when it should be a relaxing holiday. We’ve spoken to several other guests who are also struggling to book restaurants, which suggests this is not an isolated issue. It's hard to understand the other very positive reviews given our experience. There are some positives – the hotel is very clean, the patisserie is lovely, and the slides are fun. However, the buffet food is repetitive, with similar offerings each night, and the quality is generally average. Again, this doesn’t match the standard or variety we’ve come to expect at other hotels in the same price range. We hope the management will take this feedback seriously and help improve the experience for us and others by making bookings fairer and ensuring the advertised offering is actually delivered.
