This was a horrible hotel, it does not have AC instead they have a fan which are really old and really loud!! I could not sleep all night from the sound of the fan and if I turn the fan off the room is too hot because there is no AC. It was the worst night of my life! The owner was very rude when I asked to refund mu booking for the following week, he refused and said it was my problem!! Horrible manners. I don’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel

I had an amazing stay at this place, the only problem was that there were no radiators in the bathroom so we couldn’t dry our wet clothes from skiing. The room came with a tiny kitchen and a fridge, which is fantastic. I really enjoyed our stay, the wellness is very nice and the fitness too. There are many breakfast choices.

Hotels decor was well thought out we especially enjoyed the pool and sauna which was much bigger than we expected for a small hotel. Would definitely book again.

Fabulous hotel for a week skiing. The room was small but sufficient. We are a family 3 so the room was a bit tight. Our friend who was a single guy had a much bigger room (same rate) than us so I am not sure how the rooms are allocated. We made it work though! The pool and sauna area were amazing. Just needed a jacuzzi and then it would be perfect! There is a bus stop next to the hotel (a couple of stops before the main bus station). The citi express station is a 10 minute walk with a food shop at the petrol station. An easy walk into the centre of zell with plenty of lovely restaurants. The breakfast was basic but fine. Limited hot choices but it was enough for us. They had an honesty bar for drinks but we one evening we brought our own drinks into the bar area and they had no issues with it. Very friendly and helpful staff. We got a great deal and would definitely return again. Thanks Gast house!

Zell am See
The hotel was nicely renovated, had great breakfast, and wonderful staff. It was located in a good location for easy access to the town of Zell am See. There was no AC or fans in the room and it was uncomfortably warm overnight. We needed to keep the windows open and the hotel is located off a noisy street. Neighbors were not quiet until 0100-0200. Morning traffic picked up by 0700. This gave you minimal peaceful sleep.

Very hot inside the rooms.
Pool is freezing. Not heated, no point to have it unless you are into freezing swinging.
Rooms are extremely small. Not very confortable.
Staff, ok. Decent but of course is a very Germans. Just way too serious and with grumpy or unhappy look most of the time. Meaning efficiency first friendliness second.
