Great hotel! The pool area is beautifully maintained and peaceful, away from the noise of the main road that runs in front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and modern. The restaurant on a 2nd level looks to the ocean. The noise from the main road is loud, and it can be hot with only the fans running, but it is nice to have a view of the ocean. The staff are around, even late at night when my air conditioner quit, they were available to troubleshoot and ultimately move me to another room. Highly recommend for its location, beauty, and value.

Esplanada was actually the best place to stay in Dili. We stayed for 5 nights. Comfortable beds, aircond and fast internet. Breakfast included in price. Good kitchen serving large portions. My favorite meal was jackfruits with rice. Ocean views from the restaurant. Good size swimming pool in a tropical garden. Highly recommended!

Me and some mates stayed here for 4 nights whilst doing whale watching. Real nice spot to stay. Comfy beds, good AC, good showers and a water dispenser in the room was a great addition. Nice pool outside with a restaurant at the front with a great view out over the ocean. I was very impressed by the food actually. Some local dishes and some western dishes. Staff were super accommodating of our requests. Overall I was happy. Location is great too.I will be staying here again in the future.

The staff at Hotel Esplanada are lovely - they made my mum and I feel so welcomed. I live in TL (outside of Dili) and Hotel Esplanada made me feel like my second home was with them with their friendly and warm hospitality. Ash is interested in getting to know all of his guests and all the Timorese staff were very smiley. Delicious food and comfortable lounging with lots of fun activities like morning yoga and more.

We have just had a lovely few days at Hotel Esplanada. As soon as I walked through the entrance into the garden and pool area I knew we had chosen a special place to stay. All the staff greeted us with their friendly beautiful smiles and we were even invited to join the aqua yoga class. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. I think my favourite part of the hotel was the very large open air bar and dining area upstairs. Overlooking the beach and Artauro Island we enjoyed a beautiful cooling breeze and all our meals were delicious. I could have sat there all day!

We stayed 4 nights. Nice gardens surround th pool and the hotel is right on the beachfront. Lovely having breakfast each morning looking out to the ocean drinking excellent expressos.Staff were very friendly and accomodating with a late checkout as our flight home was in the afternoon. Got a lovely vibe about the place. Very generous filtered water supply in your room so you can refill your bottles up when you go exploring during the days.
