Tulloch Castle Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’ ★★★

📍 Tulloch Castle Dr, Ross-Shire, Dingwall

"Our stay was lovely. We liked the novel idea of staying in someplace that is technically a castle. The room was nice and clean and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. They didn't offer the info to us when we arrived, but we ended up walking ourselves around the hotel and found the reception desk person giving another couple a tour of the hotel and telling them the history -- I'd have been disappointed to have missed this, but I'm glad we got the info regardless that it wasn't offered to us. Had dinner and drinks in the Green Lady Lounge which was nice and had good food."

Tulloch Castle Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’ ★★★
"Tulloch Castle is the perfect hotel if you dream of staying in a Scottish castle. No elevator, but a majestic staircase, very attentive staff who carry your suitcases upstairs, and an excellent restaurant (the hunt meal is absolutely perfect). A pleasant bar for a pre-meal whisky. The rooms are large with period furnishings. Location close to the distillery, Inverness, and Loch Ness"

"Worst hotel ever! If could have given a minus score I would have! Where to start? Stood 10 minutes waiting at reception Then taken to what can only be described as a cupboard posing as a single room ( booked a double btw) No heating Filthy sheets/pillows Complained to the young boy on reception who shrugged his shoulders and said wasn’t his problem! Finally moved to another building around corner away from family above a snooker/pool hall no security.to room more dirtier than the street outside! Once again no heating mouldy and uninhabitable! To sum this place up! Dirty cold damp and better service in Iraq!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!"
