Tulloch Castle Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’

📍 Tulloch Castle Dr, Ross-Shire, Dingwall
★★★ 8.5 (103 reviews)

"This hotel is ok, the setting is behind a council estate so not much to look at. The rooms are standard but a bit shabby. Carpet was torn and hadn't been repaired. The beds are big and comfortable. The bar area is nice but the reception and formal dining areas didn't have any atmosphere and were very quiet. The dining area is dated and run down, and not in a nice 'I'm in a castle' way. The service was good and the food was nice."

"Amazingly helpful staff, William couldn’t do enough to help us after a booking mix up. Stayed twice and my only criticism is I’d love a poached egg on my breakfast toast. Everything is nice and clean , comfy beds. Anyone looking for a Dingwall base this is the place. We will be back guys x"

Tulloch Castle Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’ ★★★
"Tulloch Castle is the perfect hotel if you dream of staying in a Scottish castle. No elevator, but a majestic staircase, very attentive staff who carry your suitcases upstairs, and an excellent restaurant (the hunt meal is absolutely perfect). A pleasant bar for a pre-meal whisky. The rooms are large with period furnishings. Location close to the distillery, Inverness, and Loch Ness"

"We read the reviews and we're going to cancel, but decided to give it a go. First impressions were that it looked okay ..... bearing in mind refurbishments apparently in progress. Room folder asked us to bear on mind refurbishments if reviewing our stay. Good points were .... warm, no bed bugs, clean towels and sheets, carpet was good, bed good, tv worked. Negative were .... shower tray filled quick re poor drainage. The breakfast was probably the worst part. It was continental, fair enough. Nobody told us there was juice and milk in a cupboard. So it was boil a kettle ourselves and make your tea or coffee and use wee milk sachets. Brown or white toast .... that was it, at 0845am. We'd go back."
