A warm welcome from the lovely staff on the bar, couldn’t stop looking around at the beautiful building & decor. Our room was impeccable, had everything we needed & more. Finished the evening with delicious rarebit croquettes, and by far the best pork chop I’ve ever eaten! Great continental choices at breakfast, as well as fresh coffee & tasty cooked options. Such friendly and efficient service throughout our stay…thank you so much Manor House team! P.S fresh milk and cookies on arrival is a lovely touch!

Excellent quick break; room was beautiful with great wifi for our teenage son, and a super rainfall shower in the bathroom. We ate twice; one delicious a la carte and one evening of amazing pizza. Hosts and staff all very friendly and welcoming - we hope to return again soon.

We have just had two nights at The Manor House whilst attending a wedding nearby and it was wonderful. The rooms are very well appointed and the bathrooms are fabulous. Breakfast was delicious both mornings and we had a great meal on the night that we were not at the wedding. All the staff are so kind and helpful and do a really great job, we will definitely be returning to explore more of the area.

Having read an excellent review for this Inn in The Week and staying in the area we thought we would have a meal. We were not disappointed. Starters of Kedgeree scotch egg and rarebit followed by ox liver and fish and chips. All were superb. No room for pud. Very generous portions. Everyone very friendly and service great. Would definitely recommend you visit.

Fresh flowers and proper napkins are an indicator of somewhere that cares! And they certainly do. The guys had the most exceptional calves liver, utterly splendid. And our partners raved about the fish. What is so nice about the place is, although it serves top class food it does not feel like a gastro pub. Brilliant food but a fine team which stops it being up itself.

We had a lovely overnight stay at The Manor House Inn, it is a beautiful country pub that just has that little bit extra, from the moment we arrived the staff could not of been more helpful and attentive and this continued throughout our stay, our evening meal and breakfast was delicious, we stayed in a small double room (no. 7) which was actually surprisingly larger than we thought it would be, beautifully decorated with all the little extra touches that made the difference, the homemade cookies were a lovely welcome treat !!. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Roger and I couldn't fault our stay at this beautifully restored inn situated in an archetypal Somerset village. The accent is on quality whether it be in the comfortably furnished bedroom (Room2), the excellent breakfast and evening meal or the friendliness of GM, Ed, and the staff who work there. Nothing is too much trouble and the extras such as home baked cookies, fresh milk and 'Land and Water' toiletries show care and an attention to detail. It has a welcoming feel and the atmosphere created by everyone involved is guaranteed to make this a sought after place to stay. In fact I'm now concerned about my review as I'd like it to remain my own closely guarded secret....... but, no, Ed and the team deserve all the praise they get and we will definitely be returning later in the year.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional in everyway from our initial welcome through to serving great breakfasts and top class dinner menus. The manager Ed was incredibly helpful with both local knowledge and what the Manor had to offer. The rooms were very cosy, clean and comfortable with excellent facilities. Parking is easy and the location is close to many amenities and places of interest. The Manor is a top class place to stay and being in a beautiful countryside setting offers much for those wishing for a relaxing few days. We will return as soon as possisble.
