The hotel is small and cozy. Good breakfasts. It is convenient to stay overnight while traveling around the region. It's a bit difficult to find a parking space for a car. The hotel does not have an elevator.

Great location for touring Snowdonia and various tourist attractions and sites. Clean and tidy room with comfortable bed and en suite shower. Lovely healthy sized breakfast with plenty of choice to suit most people. Friendly hosts with good helpful knowledge of local attractions and scenic drives etc. Used a couple of local town pubs for evening meals which were within a 5min walk from accomodation and were reasonable value. Overall we enjoyed our 3 nights and would definitely stay again when visting the area.

Stayed for 1 night for work. A very warm welcome on arrival, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. Thank you so much. Will definitely return.

Again another fantastic 3 night stay at Ivy house dollegue, Duncan and staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is plenty,and a nice choice from a full cooked breakfast or kippers,poached eggs,ect ,fresh fruit,yogurts,cereals, also different choice of teas n coffees, we Stayed at Ivy house because 1 it's great and 2 the people are lovely, food locally is good too,we like to eat in the TORRENT PUB food is amazing,We love watching the jets fly through the Mach loop too spent many hours sitting on CAD EAST great buzz,Thanks again Duncan, regards Daren & Donna ,Plane spotters 😁

Had a lovely stay at ivy house booked in for one night lovely b and b room very cosy and well equipped with everything we needed and they do a breakfast to die for loads of choices on the menu and a lovely little town will definitely return thank for your hospitality Duncan we did the drive out to Barmouth as recommended by you and was great
