"Just had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tropical Sands. The owners, Amy and Ken, set a great tone and the staff follow their laid back yet friendly, helpful, and attentive way. Marta, Loren, and Claire are welcoming and interesting people. The hotel setting is really cool. Walking through the gate you’re transported to a jungle vibe with birds chirping and amazing vegetation that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a rain forest despite being adjacent to the beach and a short walk to the town center. The restaurant across the street quickly became a favorite. The rooms are efficient and exceptionally clean. Looking forward to staying there again."

"This is the second time we have stayed at the Mavi. It is a boutique family run hotel that is quiet and so very comfortable! This little gem is situated within walking distance to the ocean and all that Dominical has to offer. Barbara and Max are the perfect hosts! Breakfasts are scrumptious! We will be back!
