Bedside light had no bulb in so had to have big light on. TV in room had poor signal so every station jumps. Bathroom door needs cleaning and overall room needs some updating"

"This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. ."

"Hotel was busy with a very loud wedding. My room was starting to look and feel dated. Was outstanding 8 years ago. now less than average. I feel a modernisation plan would help. biggest gripe was breakfast stopped at 10am on a Sunday. we went down at 09.30 and they where starting to clear away. I personally think 10.30 or 11am would be more customer focused on a weekend. However check out time is 11am. again too early. Just my thoughts."

"Stayed here August Bank Holiday was slightly apprehensive having read some of the reviews, needn’t have been. Yes rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Very central location, shame to see some of the bars have closed unfortunately a sign of the times. Staff on reception and bar very friendly. Would recommend if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel"

"It is a while since I have been here but when I went I thoroughly enjoyed this pub. It has a good atmosphere and the food was good also. All in all a good pub. I went with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit the staff were friendly and the atmosphere good. It is definitely a place I would recommend and go back to. Anne walker"
