"Arrived late, but easy check in with two people at reception.
Cold filtered water available for anyone.
Room was perfect size for two travellers, aircon was on so room was cool on a particularly hot night.
showerroom was spacious and clean.
Good breakfast, easy checkout"
"Nice hotel , great location however the communication between staff was poor and I was informed I could have late check out however when arriving I was informed I could not have late check out.
Noisy if your on the street side as bars open till late however the hotel supply you with ear plugs which doesn’t make a different.
Cleaners were cleaning other rooms above me early in the monring which disrupted me even more.
Nice hotel but many problems"
"Great location, husband and father in law stayed the night before a visit to see the Vulcan. The room was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the food was superb (best fish & chips theyve had for a long time). They both had a great time and would definitely recommend."
"The fabric of the building was a little worn and tired. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Didn’t eat in so can’t comment on that. Great variety of food available in the Wool Market, 3 minutes walk away."
"Most authoritative evaluation:
No mineral water is provided, no disposable toothbrushes, slippers, toothpaste, the room is very cold and no heating! There is no stairs on the second floor! Because there are more things, it is very tired when moving, and then there is very little toilet paper, basically no new ones!"
"The regent hotel is a historic family run hotel located near the centre of Dincaster about 10 minutes walk from the train station oposite a small park.
Downstairs the bar and restaurant can be found together with the reception. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Rooms are over a number of floors, I had single room at the back. The rooms was small but had window, work top, kettle and a queen size bed and a small tv. The room was clean but looks a bit dated which is reflected in the price which is fair and value for money.
Had a good night sleep and will stay again."
"Hotel was busy with a very loud wedding. My room was starting to look and feel dated. Was outstanding 8 years ago. now less than average. I feel a modernisation plan would help. biggest gripe was breakfast stopped at 10am on a Sunday. we went down at 09.30 and they where starting to clear away. I personally think 10.30 or 11am would be more customer focused on a weekend. However check out time is 11am. again too early. Just my thoughts."
"Very noisy at night. I had to go and purchase some ear plugs for second night due to only having a few hours sleep previous night from the noise.
Plenty of teabags and milk provided but no spoons!
Bedside light had no bulb in so had to have big light on. TV in room had poor signal so every station jumps. Bathroom door needs cleaning and overall room needs some updating"
