"The reception service was very friendly at my arrival, as I checked-in I didn’t expect the room to be as small as advertised however the room was quite clean and neat. The AC do not work and I did ask about it later on at the reception but they never bothered trying to have a look or get someone down to repair it. All in all it’s a great location where it’s at the heart of Doncaster with everything right outside."

Sour fruit juice at breakfast that literally came out in jelly chunks. Screws in floor being used as doorstops. Flies, god the flies, infesting rooms and the manager admitted it could be the mattress as when I sat on is the flies all rose off it. PLEASE. TAKE MY ADVICE. STAY AWAY. DONT PUT YOURSELF IN DANGER.."

"My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom, and the amenities were excellent. The snacks and coffee machine were a great bonus. The breakfast selection was fantastic—especially the made-to-order à la carte options, which were a pleasant surprise as this isn’t common in other hotels I’ve stayed at in the UK. We would definitely come back and stay here again."

"Good location, clean room, lovely view. Vaughan on reception was super helpful. There was a group of us going to a party and he made sure we all had rooms close together, gave us a lakeside view, took a photo of us in our fancy dress and gave us details of a taxi company to use. All really good."

"The hotel is conveniently located just outside the city centre. The staff are most professional and helpful, and keen to make one's stay as comfortable as possible. The building itself, however, is old and badly in need of a complete upgrade to bring it up to modern standards. The room was clean but scruffy wit9h chipped paint,, and fixtures and fittings stuck firmly in the 1970s. The bed was acceptable but the sprung mattress bore witness to its antiquity and should be replaced with a modern foam mattress."

"Overall nice hotel, good sized room, nice and modern. Big comfortable bed. Only faults was there was a load of ladybirds in the bathroom, looks like there was some form of infestation. Only noticed this in the morning and reported it to the front desk when checked out. The bathroom door is also frosted with the window leaking through so was quite bright in the morning, think this might have just been my room though with it being on the end. It was great location for a wedding I attended at Hooton Pagnall Hall - only 10 mins away so great location for what I needed. Staff were friendly. Would recommend"

"Bloody appalling. No TV inthe room. WIFI in the room does not work. Very noisy guests slamming doors and kids running around screaming until the early hours. Awful beer. Tasteless food. Horrible uncomfortable bed. Then to cap it all, waited 40 mins for someone to take my order for breakfast. Nobody showed up, so I left. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I SUSPECT THEIR GOOD REVIEWS ARE FALSE."

"What a wonderful stay we had at Home Farm, the owners were lovely and took time to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. The beautiful spacious rooms were very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean, we wanted for nothing. There was a very good selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurts, tea, coffee, orange juice, bread and milk for our continental breakfast. The grounds were beautifully kept, manicured lawns, with lovely flower beds. What an absolute gem this place is and I can not recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Richard and Kerry."
