"We were a group of 15 on a golfing trip. Sian, our hostess, was very friendly and very helpful. She helped make arrangements for our golf and did some shopping for us ahead of time. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The large group common spaces for eating, socializing and cooking were ideal and made for a pleasant shared experience. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed for many of us to participate in cooking, set up and clean up. Sian was responsive quickly to all of our requests and generously provided a full Irish Breakfast one morning during our stay. The Manor was conveniently located close to Donegal town and I would highly recommend it for creating a home-like setting for any gathering."

"Breakfast times are over to early,checking out should be at least 12 noon especially at weekends. Room quite comfortable, staff very nice. Overall the Abbey is a great hotel and location but would need a revamp as the corridors leading to bedrooms are a bit shabby ."

"Wow! A beautiful stay at the Cliffe! Accommodation was spotless and classy! Very relaxing break! The bubbles on arrival were a lovely touch and the hot tub is brilliant! We’ve stayed in Harvey’s, Lough Eske and the Millpark…… but will definitely be back to the Cliffe. So central to the town and such a pamper. Couldn’t recommend Suite 2 more! Blueberry for brunch is a must! Great meals at Quay West and the Harbour bar…..followed by live music and a drink at Mc Caffertys….. a stone’s throw from our accommodation. Thank you Cliffe at the Quay! Looking forward to our next stay !"
