good place to staying in Dongguan area for biz travel. breakfast is good service. little bit old facilities, need to renovation.

The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are still there. It's an old four-star hotel with all the major international brands. It's just a bit too dated, but the cleanliness is acceptable.

It has been years since my last stay. This time it was perfect. The room was huge, bathroom was huge with separate shower and bathtub. hot water and pressure are good. Carpet looks new, soft and clean. Mattress, pillow and quilt was clean and comfy. Cigarettes smell is unavoidable, it has blend into the room. It is acceptable for me. Breakfast was plentiful, I can find what I need every morning. The hotel is located next to a mall in the city center. Although the outlook looks a bit tired but the room are comfortable. Will stay for my next trip.

The lobby is grand, but the corridor lights in the room are dim and it feels very shabby. The room is okay and the breakfast is good.

The only thing is that the service is average, nothing to complain about. The room I was given on the seventh floor at first smelled too bad, the kind of suffocating smell that someone has been smoking in for years. Later, I was moved to the ninth floor. When I lay on the bed, I felt itchy and unclean. When I slept at night, the door and window made a creaking sound from time to time, and it was so noisy that I couldn't sleep at night. The faucet switch in the bathroom was broken, and the towel was brown instead of white. I felt uneasy and didn't dare to use it. I didn't expect that the shirt was hung on the hanger, and the hanger also felt furry for many years. In short, it was unclean and noisy, and I will never stay here again.

The old Star Star Hotel has five-star service and grand decoration. The price is affordable. If it were a few years ago, you would definitely not be able to live at this price.
