Was originally happy that we were given a free room upgrade for our long stay. The hotel lobby, common level 4 has leftover smoke smell, and since aircon system is shared, it didn't occur to me that we weren't by default given a smoke free level/room upon the upgrade, even though I've booked for non-smoking room. Therefore, both of us got rashes or mite bites from the poor air quality in the room. After 2 nights of torture, we complained to the counter and then found out that we can move into a non-smoking room. Everything was fine afterwards (our skin still healing), and we were also given a small goodie bag as a token for apology. Conclusion, don't expect the receptionist to read the online booking order, and remind them constantly. Lastly, as shown in pics, the towel cleanliness varies before usage, although we were told that new cleaned towels will be delivered to the hotel daily. Room size is great.
