stayed at K Avenue last night and was extremely disappointed with the lack of safety and cleanliness. Our experience was stressful from start to finish due to several major issues:
Safety Hazard: Shortly after checking in, my husband was accidentally locked inside the bathroom. He didn't have his phone with him, and the rest of the family had stepped out for a walk. If we hadn't returned early to grab something, he would have been trapped for hours. This is a massive safety risk.
Poor Maintenance & Health Concerns: The unit is poorly maintained. There is visible water damage and what looks like mold/fungal growth on the wall directly under the air conditioning unit (see photos).
Cleanliness: The floor under the bed was thick with dust. This was a major problem as I have a crawling baby who kept trying to go under there.
Lack of Professionalism: While the owner did send a technician quickly, there was no apology or explanation for the bathroom door malfunction. They simply said the technician would check it. No one seemed concerned that a guest was trapped.
Between the mechanical failures and the unhygienic conditions, I do not recommend staying here, especially if you are traveling with children.
