Honestly, this is hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Unbeatable value for money for an absolutely stellar stay. On a whirlwind solo trip to Dongshan, I opted for a hostel, hoping to meet new people. I stumbled upon a true gem, a beautiful utopia. From the design, service, food, cleanliness, and room arrangements to the common areas – even the background music and the photos on the walls – absolutely everything was beyond reproach. Every decor detail in the rooms showed immense thoughtfulness, and the common areas were designed for ultimate comfort. And bonus, there are two cats to cuddle with! Evenings were magical: dinner together, followed by chats and BBQ around a fire pit under a massive banyan tree, listening to Jie Jie sing 🎤. Truly cherished and unforgettable memories! My *only* regret? Sleeping in too late and missing out on Ayi's homemade breakfast, haha! Finally, from the bottom of my heart, a huge thank you to the charismatic, tasteful, and incredibly thoughtful Brother Xuesong. Wishing you all the very best, and I truly hope our paths cross again!

Dashi Ji is truly worthy of all the rave reviews! My entire family, young and old, was extremely satisfied. I've already been enthusiastically recommending it to all my friends, both online and offline. I sincerely hope I get the chance to return and stay for a longer period. During the May Day holiday, Dashi Ji was bustling with both new and returning guests. Xuedong was incredibly busy, so I unfortunately didn't get to fulfill my wish of hearing his stories this trip.

During this trip, I felt less like a tourist and more like I was reconnecting with dear old friends, listening to their fascinating life stories. What I initially expected to be just an ordinary journey unexpectedly became one of the most cherished memories of my life. The guesthouse itself radiates a beautiful vintage charm. Every detail, from the subtly placed tiles in a corner to the sea rocks on the cabinet and the fresh flowers, meticulously showcases a unique appreciation for aesthetic living and a truly dedicated approach to hospitality. A special thank you goes to the guesthouse host, Dong Ge. His warm hospitality and thoughtful attention made us feel like family. Not only did he provide us with a comfortable place to stay, but his genuine sincerity and kindness truly melted away our travel weariness. This warmth and friendship I will forever cherish. Though it was difficult to leave, the journey of life must continue. I eagerly look forward to the day I can return to this wonderfully warm and special place.

The owner has acquired and restored a cluster of traditional houses in the surrounding area. This spot offers a unique charm amidst the bustling seaside city, making it easy to unwind, listen to the birds, admire the ancient architecture, and rediscover simple, long-forgotten pleasures. What truly stands out is the thoughtful renovation of these traditional dwellings; every corner reveals meticulous details and touches reflecting the owner's personal story. It's absolutely worth another visit! Can't wait to come back for some beachcombing! 😄😄😄 Oh, and a big thank you to the owner for even upgrading our room!

The moment I stepped into this B&B, I was captivated by its unique style. The wooden furniture paired with vintage decor created an incredible ambiance. The excellent natural lighting made me feel incredibly comfortable and uplifted. The breakfast offered was very generous and had a homemade taste. The service was exceptional, very polite and enthusiastic. They even went out of their way to find an outlet for me to charge my electric scooter; I was so touched by their thoughtfulness! I thoroughly enjoyed every day of my stay here and wholeheartedly give it a five-star recommendation to everyone!

Absolutely fantastic! We'll definitely be back. Highly, highly recommend! The pet-friendly atmosphere is a huge plus, with so many adorable cats and dogs around. They even have evening performances, and breakfast is provided every morning!

Hands down, one of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed in! The owner is a wonderfully warm and friendly person from Liaoning. He's traveled extensively, drives an old Jinbei van he's had for 16 years, and has countless fascinating stories. The guesthouse also has two lovely cats – a calico and a black cat. For breakfast, the owner's mother makes truly delicious pan-fried dumplings, with the meat freshly purchased at 7 AM. In the evenings, you can enjoy folk singers performing in the courtyard. I will wholeheartedly recommend this place to all my friends!
