Vienna International Hotel (Dongxing Port)

The location of the hotel is very good, right next to the national gate, and you can see the entry-exit border bridge from the hotel room. The room was big and clean. There is a viewing platform on the top of the building when you get your room card. Parking at the hotel is also convenient. Even if I registered my license plate when I checked in, I was still charged 50 yuan by ETC when I left. Forget it, don’t bother talking about it anymore.

A very good hotel, probably the best in Dongxing. The location is unparalleled and there is a free observation deck with beautiful scenery. The room was nice and big and the bed was very comfortable. Very close to Vietnam Street, very convenient for eating and drinking.

The geographical indication of the hotel is particularly obvious. It is located on the edge of the port. It is very convenient for travel, vacation and leisure. You can experience the Vietnamese style up close, and you will not get lost when visiting nearby. The transportation is very convenient. The standard in the room is high, the environment is elegant, the facilities are complete, the bedding is very comfortable, and the large windows make it easy to observe Vietnam across the Beilun River. The top floor of the hotel is equipped with an open viewing platform overlooking Vietnam and Dongxing from a high altitude. It is convenient for checking in and taking photos. At the same time, you can better compare Vietnam and China and observe the flow of people entering and exiting. It is very pleasant!

It's very close to the place we wanted to visit, so we booked this hotel. It's no different from the more expensive Ramada upstairs. It's more cost-effective. I only slept in one room anyway, so I booked two rooms. It's very affordable and we can go there. It is highly recommended to see the scenery of Vietnam from the viewing platform.

This is a very strange hotel. First of all, it is difficult to find the hotel. The sign on the building is Ramada Plaza Hotel. After asking about it in the lobby, I found out that it is in the same building, which wasted a lot of energy and time. Secondly, there was inexplicable noise in the room (like the roar of a machine). It was so loud that I couldn't sleep. It still persisted after changing rooms. The third is that it's mixed in with the Ramada Plaza Hotel, which is often confusing. The breakfast is okay, but the garage is underground and it's hard to find a parking space. The sightseeing platform on the top floor is good, you can see the Vietnamese port and the city.

First of all, let me state that this negative review is for Ramada. I originally booked Vienna, but the front desk told me that there was no room available. They said that they had the same owner as Ramada and upgraded to Ramada. The room they were given was not close to the river. I asked the front desk and they changed the room. This is not important. I went to the Ramada restaurant for breakfast and brought my children. If they are over 1.2 meters tall, they have to pay the same as adults. The old lady at the door was so fussy about it that she didn’t drink my yogurt after finishing it. The children took it and forcefully took it from their hands. Take it down. Such a big hotel is worse than a B&B.

Worst hotel of this trip 1. Ctrip said that check-in is possible at 14:00. I arrived around 15:50. I was told by the front desk that the room hadn’t been cleaned up. I had to wait for 20 minutes. I was going to go out in the morning and check out at noon. I went back to the hotel at 12:00 and the room card was demagnetized. I asked the cleaning lady. She thought we couldn’t stay, but I didn’t check out. My luggage was in the room and it was cleaned at 12:00. 2. The hygienic condition is so-so. Although the condition of the B&B I live in is not as good as that of Vienna, but there is not a single bug in Chongzuo Mountain. As a result, I got three big bugs in one night in Vienna. 3. Other feelings are quite good. The room type, air conditioner, and bath are very comfortable.

I registered my license plate number as required when I checked in. I was also charged 50 yuan for parking fee when I checked out. I contacted the hotel for more than a week and they still didn't refund it. They also said I would have to wait 15 working days. This service is terrible!
