"Pleasant hotel with lovely view, very clean and the staff on Reception are very helpful and welcoming. Our room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable, however, no water glasses, tea or coffee making facilities. mini bar or bottled water provided which is very surprising in a 4 star hotel. They did give us a complimentary bottle of red wine but who wants to drink out of plastic cups! Breakfast was fairly limited and finishes at 9.30am which is not ideal if you're using up your last days of annual leave and want to sleep in a bit! We didn't eat dinner as we are small eaters and don't want the 4 course set menu plus our son is a fussy eater so we didn't think he'd make the most out of the 20 euro kids' set menu. The hotel is set in a good location, only 5 minutes from the sea front with lots of good restaurants, and 10 minutes from the port so no complaints there. We were so impressed at the excellent food and service at all the restaurants we tried, Snoopy in particular was great! The hotel has a lovely bar with delicious drinks (the aperol spritz is the best I've had! but the facilities for kids are pretty limited. The pool is quite basic, closes at 7pm and aside from that there a table tennis table at that's it. Fine if you want a quiet stay with adults only but needs to have more for younger guests."

"Lovely stay in the hotel,quite old and which feels a bit like an old peoples home but clean and very good staff, friendly and helpful! We loved the beaches especially cala Mariolu. Lovely cuisine, you can tell the food is fresh and home made and we really enjoyed that they change the menu every day. Salve from Chester to the headwaiter Giuseppe who was very nice and friendly too!"

"Accommodating- old, without the balcony, any possible to change the room. Cleaning- with the chlorine, 1.change the towels for 7 days. Ultra All inclusive - long line to the restaurant, too few free tables, about 35% of capacity had marked Reserve. Limited selection of meals and drinks in the restaurant. Snacks only once per stay. Limited drinks in the pool bar only, from 10 to 11 pm. Lobby bar closed, don’t work per our stay. Meals were good, but fewer selection of meat, salami and cheese, sliced the day before. The hotel staff are unhelpful. Evening entertainment was only in Italian and every day was the same program. Beach and pool are great, but the beach could only be reached by long stairs . It's not for older people and people with disabilities."

"If you go to Sardinia, and want to have a good time, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! What was supposed to be a romantic honeymoon experience, came out to be a disaster! There is a waiter at the hotel restaurant who is extremely arrogant and rude to customers. A person who makes faces, mocks and makes jokes of the customers, behind their back! He is a bald one, middle aged, not very tall and wears glasses. He yelled at me when I asked for an explanation about the many and left making fun of me."

I Ginepri Hotel ★★★★

"This was my second stay at I Ginepri. I first visited exactly two years earlier and by this visit, they had done further renovations. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were all kind and friendly. The location couldn’t be more perfect!!! Plenty of parking. During both stays I was in fully renovated rooms with new furnishings and beautifully appointed, fresh/clean bathrooms. Breakfast was a typically European continental, buffet style situation. It’s not fantastic, or showy. Just simple: a lot of cakes and pastries….could use more fruit and veg. My only complaint (and it’s more about me than them)…. I’m a solo traveler and was given a “classic room”. Which to my surprise was a tiny triangular shaped room with a little single bed. It reminded me of my uni dorm room. I’m a big man…middle aged, and not used to such a small bed. Just because I’m single doesn’t mean I’m happy with a room literally built for one. I seemed to be the only single guy there…all were couples of all ages….so it makes sense that this was the room I was given. I would have preferred to choose a room with an adult sized bed. Still, it had a great balcony which I used quite a bit, and all in all, the room did its job. As someone else pointed out, sound transference is terrible. Don’t fart…the neighbors will know about it. But I would definitely stay here a third time…I’d just ask to be sure to have a room with a larger bed. I trust this place. And I like it there, very much."

"We were there in December after a wonderful journey from Nuoro through the Supramonte area to Olbia. Accommodation with three nice rooms, large bathroom, small balcony from the bathroom; Excellent breakfast and very lovely care; Anna and her husband are great hosts; The three rooms are in the second floor (modern, new house) Supermarket directly at the house. Safe parking. From here you can make both fantastic tours to the bay/strands on the coast but also demanding to adventured trekking tours in the area of the Supermonte. Ask Anna and her husband for tips; the place itself offers some open restaurants in the secondary season. The rooms are simply recommendable."

Hotel Resort Nuraghe Arvu ★★★

"Very nice, well-maintained hotel complex with friendly staff. The rooms are nice and very clean. There is a club in the neighborhood that can make unbearable noise with music until midnight. I would definitely not book this hotel a second time. The hotel does not seem to be able to remedy the situation. That is a real shame."
