"We stayed from 04/ to 16 August in this property located in a panoramic position near the famous Ispinigoli cave. Our experience was more than positive starting from the abundant breakfast, with a wide choice of both sweet and savory products at K.m 0 served on a panoramic terrace from which to enjoy a fantastic view of both the lush Mediterranean scrub and the Gulf of Orosei. On the same terrace in the evening we dined with excellent traditional Sardinian cuisine, of a high quality level, we tried the whole menu and we did not find a dish to not recommend. The hotel is family run where availability, kindness and courtesy are the masters. A special note must be dedicated to Mr. Pietro, a person who we could define as out of the ordinary, a truly exquisite person. To conclude with a few minutes by car you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Orosei. Highly recommended."

"We stayed 5 nights in early july. Arriving at this fantastic located hotel will never be forgotten. To stand outside this hotel alone is just amazing. The mountains to your right. The ocean to your left. Incredible The Hotel. My wife and i have been to italy multi times staying in numerous citys and hotels and the room.here at Hotel l Ginepri was amazing. The bed was by far most comfortable. The view from the balcony was incredible. Great pool. Clean everywhere throughout the grounds of this hotel. Staff was super friendly n nice with full knowledge of this wonderful area of Sardinia. Mins walk to beaches and port with restaurants all over! Will definately stay here again! Paradise found"

"Accommodating- old, without the balcony, any possible to change the room. Cleaning- with the chlorine, 1.change the towels for 7 days. Ultra All inclusive - long line to the restaurant, too few free tables, about 35% of capacity had marked Reserve. Limited selection of meals and drinks in the restaurant. Snacks only once per stay. Limited drinks in the pool bar only, from 10 to 11 pm. Lobby bar closed, don’t work per our stay. Meals were good, but fewer selection of meat, salami and cheese, sliced the day before. The hotel staff are unhelpful. Evening entertainment was only in Italian and every day was the same program. Beach and pool are great, but the beach could only be reached by long stairs . It's not for older people and people with disabilities."

"Lovely stay in the hotel,quite old and which feels a bit like an old peoples home but clean and very good staff, friendly and helpful! We loved the beaches especially cala Mariolu. Lovely cuisine, you can tell the food is fresh and home made and we really enjoyed that they change the menu every day. Salve from Chester to the headwaiter Giuseppe who was very nice and friendly too!"

"We stayed in this hotel as part of a bike tour. The hotel location, right on the water is spectacular. The rooms are a bit oldish and small but comfortable enough. Our room was on the side of the building, so street view and not much natural light. Breakfast is really nice and plentiful."

"The hotel is only nice in pictures. But the owners do not know how to run it so that the guests feel good. The rooms are nice and clean but... the cleaning lady hung our dirty towels, which we threw on the floor again on the hanger. This is a scandal... People from nearby cities are allowed into the pool and it is very loud and hotel guests have nowhere to lie down and relax by the pool, because everything is occupied by guests from outside the hotel... drama... It should not be like this, it was supposed to be an oasis of peace and there were only nerves and shouts of people from outside.The pool has dirty and torn mattresses and no one is watching over it. Everything is very different from the photos on the website. In front of the cottages there are broken and very uncomfortable chairs. Basically, there is nowhere to sit there. And if there were sun loungers, you could relax in front of the cottage when the pool is always busy... and as it is, we had to relax outside the hotel. I have a beautiful, large house and for me these conditions are very poor and the owner does not care about the details so that everyone feels special, only the number of guests counts, not the quality... Guests often do not have a table for breakfast and there is chaos... Very disappointed and tired of this place. I will never return and feel cheated. I do not recommend it and it is rather a hotel for undemanding guests!!!"

"We booked this accommodation for 2 nights and stayed for 4 weeks we loved it so much. A beautifully restored home in the centre of Dorgali close to all amenities. It has a palatial feel but with all mod cons. We particularly loved watching the swallows from the lovely roof terrace in the evening - magical ! Best breakfast we had in Sardinia and Franca was a delight couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely return."

"We were there in December after a wonderful journey from Nuoro through the Supramonte area to Olbia. Accommodation with three nice rooms, large bathroom, small balcony from the bathroom; Excellent breakfast and very lovely care; Anna and her husband are great hosts; The three rooms are in the second floor (modern, new house) Supermarket directly at the house. Safe parking. From here you can make both fantastic tours to the bay/strands on the coast but also demanding to adventured trekking tours in the area of the Supermonte. Ask Anna and her husband for tips; the place itself offers some open restaurants in the secondary season. The rooms are simply recommendable."

"Hotel Pop is a charming boutique hotel in Cala Gonone that I can definitely recommend. It is not the top standard and quality but decent typical for Sardinia .The staff are very pleasant and provide proper, attentive service, which makes the stay comfortable and welcoming. Rooms are clean and well maintained, and while the breakfast selection is small, it is decent and good quality. The location is perfect – just steps away from the marina, with easy access to boat trips, restaurants, and all the main tourist attractions. The rooms are reasonably priced, offering good value for money. The only downside is the hotel’s restaurant, which feels a bit overpriced compared to other options nearby. Overall, though, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy Cala Gonone in comfort and convenience."

"Other than the food and the service, this is a lovely waterfront location. Service is terrible. Our food came before our drinks (and not bc the food was fast!)…the waiter never checked on our table once - I had to flag down another waiter to get more wine. They left the plates piled up on our table for way too long after we were done eating, attracting many bees. I complained to the manager and she didn’t even apologize for the terrible wait staff or our experience. Highly recommend going somewhere way better next door, Snoopy’s or Cala Luna."
