Premier Inn Douglas, Isle of Man
"We had the most lovely experience and kind service from the Liverpool waiter he was extremely tentative and treated myself and friends with the utmost respect."
The Devonian
"Very cozy, great breakfast, and amazing staff."
Regency Hotel
"Excellent quality hotel, really friendly staff, super clean rooms, and exceptional breakfast. I’ve stayed several times for work over the past few months and every stay has been flawless. I’ve been in several different rooms over the months and they are always spotless, beds / pillows are super comfortable, and if you’re front facing, a fantastic view of the sea. As it is an older hotel, the windows do let in a little sound, but nothing wrong with falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing into the promenade. Location is excellent right at the top end of the promenade with many many bars and shops wirhin walking distance. Special mention to the restaurant owner who makes the best scrambled eggs on the planet (and the rest of the breakfast is excellent too)!"
Athol House
The Empress Hotel
"Nice and classic, really enjoyed my stay :)"
At Caledonia
"A well situated b and b close to the shops and railway. It takes about 20 min to walk to the shops and 35 min to/from the port. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortably but a bit small if your use to a king/superking. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to your needs/preferences each morning and there was always a warm welcome. There are a lot of stairs to your room but there is a small lift that goes to all floors - handy."
Halvard Hotel
"Hotel was in a good location, 2 mins walk away from the main shopping promenade. Service was great from reception, housekeeping and breakfast crew. Only thing is the rooms are a bit dated, and could probably do with a refresh."
The Hydro Hotel
"I booked this hotel for next August through their own website and was sent a confirmation and paid my £125 deposit. They sent me a confirmation email. Then a few hours later sent me a cancellation email saying they had put the wrong prices on their website! Not happy and still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. Beware of booking this hotel!"
Kings' House
"Fantastic service and room, and breakfast was great. Highly recommend"

Bed and Blueberry Two Bed Suite for 2,3, 4 People Own Facilities
"One again, we've enjoyed a wonderful stay at Bed and Blueberry. This was our ninth or tenth stay with Cindy and that should say it all - she is just the perfect host, friendly and welcoming. As always, the accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The layout of the house has been changed a little since our last visit and can now be arranged as two 5-bed family apartments, one on each floor - a really worthwhile improvement. There's a small, but well-equipped kitchen on each floor, which we found completely up to our needs. The house is located in a quiet side street, shielded from noise and traffic, but just a minute or two on foot from the promenade and the tram and bus stops. We couldn't wish for a nicer place to stay and are already making plans for next year!"
Amadeus Apartments
"This is our second time staying at the Amadeus Apartments. Lovely quiet place and central to Douglas amenities. There is disc street parking and there was always space. The apartments were clean and well equipped. There was even all the basics and fresh milk in the fridge. The hosts were easy to contact and responded very quickly. They really do want you to enjoy your stay. I would recommend these apartments but if you are not very mobile request the ground floor apartment as you will struggle with the stairs."
Cunard Apartments
"I and my daughter stayed at one of these apartments. I must say that we had a lovely time staying by the sea, looking at the sea whilst having our lunches and dinners. Absolutely immaculate apartment and very spacious! I highly recommend stay here if you are visiting the island. I want to mention about my exceptional situation. We left our luggage since we locked out and we had ferry in 15 minutes. I left with my daughter and luckily I had my laptop bag and necessary things to travel. I had my suitcases one of which was left open with important documents like passports in it. I rang Mr. Nigel Fogg and explained the situation. Nigel went an extra mile and help me with everything that I could expect and beyond. He not only personally visited the apartment, he took photos of all my luggage and sent me and kept everything in safe place. What more, he also put the cheese into the fridge that we bought on Island for my daughter so that it doesn't mould. He also measured my luggage, assisted me with the cheaper options to ship it back to our home in England. I feel indebted for the help that Nigel has offered to me and warm hospitality. I am absolutely happy with the overall experience. Thank you specially to Nigel !"
Melrose Guest House
"Very comfortable base for our trip to the IOM which suited our budget well. We didn’t need a 5* hotel, we wanted somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep, which is exactly what we got. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels if required. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The en suite was great, plenty of hot water, soap & shower gel provided. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. Peter couldn’t have done more for us, the perfect host. Melrose is situated centrally, close to restaurants and the promenade, although it is up a very steep hill so it was also a keep fit holiday 😀. There are stairs to climb to reach the bedrooms and no lift, so less abled people may find it difficult."
Nine Yards Bell Tents @ the TT - Douglas
"Stayed at mine yards bell tents Douglas for the TT, brilliant facilities, tents were clean with proper beds, quilts and 2 pillows each, 4 off us and enough room, good showers, a cinema room, plenty of charging points in library, bacon, egg and sausage baps were great, staff were brilliant."
Tynwald Apartments
The Town House
"Very clean if somewhat impersonal establishment. Would have got a 5 star if there had been heating. My wife & l found the apartment on the cool side. Never saw another person whole time we were there. Also, 11am checkout proved a tad tight. The extra hour until noon would have been very beneficial, to do some last minute shopping."
Comis Hotel & Golf Resort
"Great hotel, lovely at clean (in fact it was spotless). Would certainly recommend."
Mannin Hotel
"Good location, good service"
The Sefton
"Everything was perfect! The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and it was a pleasure to stay there. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and water. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!"
