First impressions weren’t good. It was raining and cold and we were given pitch no 97 which is awkward and small, and our neighbours had parked in a way which meant their owning straps were on our pitch. Not the campsites fault I know, but were the boundary of the pitches marked better it would have been ok. As I said pitch 97 is small and completely covered, however it does have front seat view of the lake. The reception staff aren’t the most friendly, however the guy that owns/runs the campsite was very helpful. so pros and cons location good restaurant nice pool clean showers and toilets supermarket nearby cycling and walking route nearby water taxi nearby cons uneven and unmarked pitches no dog walking area no bins for dog waste only one block for toilets etc electric hook ups few and far between water and waste far from pitches expensive washing machines restaurant menu was limited at times especially for non red meat eaters expensive for the facilities you get on your pitch overcrowded Road noise After all said, the location makes up for everything else as long as you get an ok pitch. we would stay again.
