Great place to stay at the end of the North Downs Way. Stayed here for two nights as there was no accommodation at Shepherdswell (so taxi). Our charming hostess was very welcoming and provided us with a very good breakfast the following morning. The rooms were cleans and the beds very comfortable. Dining available nearby

We had initially had another hotel booked when it was canceled and we were rebooked here. I am so glad that we were! This little B&B is so quaint and was perfect for one night before our cruise out of Dover. It was only a few blocks walk to a shopping district and the White Horse pub for dinner. The White Cliffs trail was about 1-2 miles away and completely walkable for us as well. While the bed was a bit hard for our taste and the bathroom small, what it lacked in size and comfort was more than made up for by the hospitality. Sandra helped us book a cab to get to the cruise port, was ready to give us dinner recommendations and the full English breakfast that we got in the morning was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this little gem for couples.

We used to stay at Mason Dieu quite often when visiting family in Dover pre-lockdown, but this was our first visit in three years. We knew that it had changed owners. Sandra gave us a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble and our room had everything we needed. Breakfast was superb - couldn’t fault it. We’ll definitely be back!

Great guesthouse to stay, Hayley and Deborah were absolutely lovely and super accommodating when we asked to drop off our luggage before check in time. The room was comfy and really lovely, with an ensuite which is what we were looking for. The house is really well maintained and looked after, great location and lovely staff. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and amazing portions too. Would have been nice to know in advance that there were going to be so many stairs to go up/down (we were in the top level - 2nd), but we managed without any issues at all. Can’t beat their prices, book directly with them to get the best rates. Don’t hesitate and book this B&B for your stay!

Die Vermieterin hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und verabschiedet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es wird auf jedes Detail geachtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und bietet sogar einen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Außerdem ist der Preis sehr günstig.

Maison Dieu Guest House – Viersterne Unterkunft. Nettes Personal, kostenloser Parkplatz. Das Zimmer war sauber, bisschen alt eingerichtet (WLAN, Fernseher, Tee, Café, Schnellwasserkocher, Handtücher, Duschgel, Schampon…). Leider ohne Aufzug, aber Personal hilft Gepäck zu tragen. Ca. 5 Wandern Minuten vom Zentrum. Lohnt sich hier zu parken, um die Parkgebühren zu sparen und in die Stadtzentrum zu Fuß gehen.

Ho soggiornato in questa guest house una notte, per visitare Dover e le sue scogliere. Si trova in una buona posizione, bar e ristoranti sono raggiungibili a piedi, la proprietaria è molto gentile, le camere molto belle e accoglienti, lo consiglio.
