Stayed Sunday night booked direct with the hotel on their hearty roasts and heavenly beds deal. Lovely spacious room overlooking the grounds.Great views of well maintained area. Very comfortable bed we both slept soundly after an interruption with the fire alarm. Room well equipped .The kettle could do with being replaced but otherwise no issues. Food great we really enjoyed the Sunday evening offer.Service very attentive and friendly. Breakfast lots of choice on the buffet.Something for everyone. We would definatly stay again if visiting the area.

We booked to stay at Stirk House as friends got married and we wanted to celebrate as long as possible with them. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, the treatment we received was first class! Our room was comfortable and clean and we had the best night's sleep as the bed was so comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

We stayed at the Stirk house for our 1st Wedding anniversary celebrations we had a warm welcome from all off the staff ! Which are all brilliant so friendly & helpful can’t do enough for you! The room was lovely & spotless! The evening meal in the Seasons restaurant was lovely! & made so special by Helen & the waiter thank you ! & lovely atmosphere! The breakfast in the morning made by Mark was the best breakfast we have had it was delicious & hot Spot on. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend to all of the Staff just brilliant! Keep the great work up can’t wait to get back ! Kind regards Wendy & Gordon xxx

Stayed for 2 nights for my cousin's wedding and the place is perfect for such an occasion. The room we had was lovely with amazing views. The only downside was the kettle that had been written about by the previous residents had a broken lid and the boiling hot water went everywhere and I was lucky to to burn myself, but after reporting it to the reception a new kettle was supplied. This hotel only loses points as the tea and coffee wasn't refilled in the room and I think when staying for 2 nights it should be automatically done as we had nothing to drink on the 2nd morning. I have to say every member of staff is a tribute to the high standards of this place, hats off and a round of applause to each and every one . If it had a pool and spa this hotel would be one of the best in the north West. Once again thank you for a fantastic weekend.

Excellent wedding venue attended a family wedding there this weekend. Food was very good the staff were helpful and friendly. Room was lovely especially the sunrise through our window this morning. Special shout out to MC DAVE the receptionist and the breakfast staff this morning. Make sure you have breakfast when you stay as it’s the brilliant and the sausages are the star
