delightful stay with a lovely staff. the food is excellent. the common areas before hand with a fire and a cocktail before dinner are so enjoyable. the decor itself is outdated, but honestly it adds to the charm. the rooms are very spacious.

For a building from mid nineteenth century, it's in good shape. Small but adequate rooms. Rural and quiet but with good WiFi. Excellent ample food and service. Smoked salmon with scrambled eggs for breakfast is superb. We booked 7 months in advance.

Great hotel Such a beautiful hotel! The building, the grounds, and the rooms are all breathtaking. Nice range of activities from enjoying the library, to a walk on the grounds, to rowing around the loch or fishing it. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The views are outstanding. The staff was helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful place. Decor suits the castle. Lovely to walk around ground. Beautiful scenery. Shame I didn’t have room with the view. Clean. Modern tv. Food outstanding but pricey. Lovely helpful staff. Can’t fault it. But water bottle in the room would have been nice.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was beyond welcoming and made us feel like it was our home away from home. The property was absolutely magical and the location couldn’t have been better being as though it was very close to so many prime sites. The food was really beyond our expectations and the best meal we had while traveling through Scotland. the rooms could be updated a little bit, but besides that there no complaints.
