Nice and simple, just stay way.... the worse place you can find in Dublin. Better to get a tent and camp in the park 😂😂... really bad. The only positive thing about this place is, the Brazilians working at the reception, really good people. The manager the biggest racist you can find 🤔....

I had reserved and paid 6 months before my trip, and they cancelled my reservation when I was already there for check in! I haven't seen the money yet, already a month waiting, and when I ask about it, they say now they are not the ones to handle such things. Just horrible! The people in there spoke to me like if I had done something wrong and at first, they wanted to blame me for the confusion and didn't even want to offer the refund, saying it was very complicated. OMG, just ruined my holidays.

Horrible is all I have to say!! We booked our stay several months in advance and received confirmation. When we arrived to the hotel after traveling for nearly 24 hours from the US, we were told that our reservation had been cancelled to house refugees. There was no notice given, and no offer of help to locate another place to stay. I fully support helping refugees and providing safe housing, but here we were with children, in a foreign country with no place to stay. If we would have been notified ahead of time, it would have been no problem and we would have happily rebooked elsewhere. After reading several reviews I see this wasnt the first time this happened. Stay away!!!

I didn't get a chance to stay here because they cancelled my reservation last minute, leaving me with no options but to cancel my trip to Dublin because the only other options were too expensive. I paid £48 for two nights here, booked in advance. When they cancelled, the cheapest alternative was £250 in another hostel, for two nights. That is simply not affordable! They also said that the refund will be made in the next 3 months. Thank you for a ruined holiday and for losing the money I paid for flights!

Zero is a more reflective score. I booked, the hotel offered free cancellation. I cancelled but craftily the free cancellation did not exist as they had already debited my account. They have not refunded me. My Place Dublin may offer cheap rates but if they have no honesty no integrity your belongings will not be safe if you stay here. You have been warned!!

This was probably the most affordable hostel in Dublin that I found last weekend and all I have to say is that it is actually not as bad as the reviews paint it to be! Located in the city centre, this Hostel was pretty nice for a young person like me who just wanted a place to stay during the weekend in Dublin aka one of the unexpectedly most expensive cities in europe

Great location. Old property but very clean. Room was very clean, towels replaced daily. I did not like there was no lock or chain lock on room door and on a few days housekeeping just walked right in without knocking or announcing entry; one of which I was in the shower. Reception staff was generally friendly. Microwave, utensils and napkins provided in lobby were helpful.

We had booked a double room but were upgraded on check in by the receptionist to an apartment. This was nice with plenty of space. Bathroom was quite worn with tiles missing from the bath panel, but had no effect on the use of the bath/shower. Facilities in the room were basic but good enough for what we needed. Hairdryer, iron and full size ironing board already in the room which makes a change to most places. However the local area/street was questionable to walk around at night. Good for the price we paid (compared to elsewhere in the city) at around €125 for two nights.

After walking up the street and seeing the shabby exterior we should have walked away but as it was already paid for we gave it a look big mistake. First impressions uncared for with rusty and rotten sign. Receptionist was quite off as we was to early so we returned later and attitude was better. Our room was two flights of stairs no lift and there was carpet grips missing the whole place looked very tired nothing like advertised. Our room well, on suite bathroom struggle to sit on the loo after battling with the sink, had to dry after a shower in the bedroom itself the bathroom was so small. Flat screen TV was size of computer screen and 3/4 of screen was damaged remote control sticky and broken. Complementarity kettle was brown inside stained badly. Window frame was rotting away damp on the celling loose tiles in the bathroom damage on walls where something had hit it. The whole room was shabby and uncared for. The smoking area was on the main street the drunks who walked past would want a light or harass for a cigarette smell of **** was horrendous and the two night we was there the ashtrays wasn't emptied. We had booked for breakfast which was included in the price went down the first morning only to be told we don't do breakfast because of covid but no offer to refund us on the extra paid for breakfast. Found the whole experience a complete nightmare and would never recommend this hotel. It was overpriced and disgusting and was glad to hand the keys back.
