Manji Private Soup Homestay

We had such a lovely stay here and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, spotless, and very well looked after, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The quiet surroundings made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He was always happy to help and really went out of his way to make our trip easier and more enjoyable. He helped us with transportation, gave us rides when needed, and even taught us a few Chinese phrases, which was a fun and memorable part of our experience. We genuinely appreciated the kindness and hospitality we received. It felt very personal and sincere, and we were treated more like friends than guests. We would gladly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area and would be very happy to stay here again in the future. 10/10 – Thank you for everything!

This was simply an outstanding experience. Zhao Yuzhong and his wife were the kindest and most generous hosts we ever had. The room was simply a paradise and the private open air hot spring bath/pool in the terrace was a real treat. We got our breakfasts and lunch served to our room and with them lots of unexpected treats. The whole surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Book this place. Don’t think twice .

The rooms are big and clean, each room has two levels. Each morning’s breakfast is different and specially cooked. Fresh fruits served daily and there is also a large hot tub in the room. Above all, the staff went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Their hospitality is so genuine and warm that they made our trip to Dujiangyan special and unforgettable. I highly recommend this to fellow Singaporeans.

The room was amazing. Large, high ceilings with a glass roof so you can sleep and wake up in nature. Modern furnishings and clean. The hot spring spa is in each hotel room itself (the hot spring water is blue-ish) which makes it very convenient. The staff are very warm, hospitable and gave good recommendations on the area. They also went the extra mile to drive us to the station as our didi cancelled on us. Highly recommended.

The room with a mountain view was scenic and everyone loved the hot bath. The smart home features were also helpful. Above all, we are touched by the hospitality of the innkeepers who packed us breakfast when we had to set off at 5.30am. Although it is located quite deep into the mountain, we were moved when the innkeeper drove us to the train station to catch our early train to jiuzhaigou. Value for money stay.

Manji Homestay is beautifully renovated but what stands out are the extremely kind and hospitable owner-couple Mr and Mrs Zhao. They drove us to nearby sightseeing locations for free and welcomed us to their family dinner like we were part of their family! My daughters, who are in their early twenties, enjoyed chatting with them and even visited their family vegetable garden behind the homestay. 10/10 and would definitely stay again!
