a very good hotel to stay for short trips

The facilities were so-so, but the service was alright. The breakfast selection was disappointing, and yet they still charged 58 yuan for a child.

I stayed here years ago, and the hotel left a wonderful impression on me. I remember the bathroom with its abundant, flowing water, the soft, skin-friendly bedding, and the meticulous attention to detail. Returning this time, however, evoked a sense of loss and disillusionment. The first thing that struck me was the noise of the night. Whispers from neighboring rooms, footsteps in the corridor, the hustle and bustle of the city outside the window, and the persistent low-frequency hum—all woven together a dense, impenetrable web, keeping me awake all night. Stepping into the room, the overwhelming smell of smoke was astonishing. The sheer intensity of the fumes surpassed even the enclosed private rooms of a shopping mall, making one wonder if a long banquet had just concluded. Perhaps it was because the receptionist's smile was so warm and the concierge so attentive during my previous stay that the reception this time felt so distant—the formulaic politeness made me feel as if I had entered a chain hotel known for its efficiency. The only consolation was the breakfast in the morning. It was prepared with care; the selection wasn't extensive, but the food was warm and palatable, far superior to the perfunctory late-night snacks offered by many hotels. Overall, Tonghua seems to be undergoing some kind of transformation, though this transformation may not be heading in a better direction. The most regrettable thing is the lack of attention to detail; after all, what moved me back then was precisely that gentle tenderness that was revealed unintentionally.

This hotel is absolutely terrible; I don't know where the good reviews came from. First of all, the hotel doesn't even have its own parking lot. It's incredibly out of the way, and in the dark at night, I couldn't find it. I called the front desk to ask where to park, and her response was that it was my fault for not using the GPS. I drove around in circles for ages before finally realizing that what she meant by "parking lot" was actually an open area directly opposite two hotels, 100 meters away. And you can't even drive right up to the entrance; you have to drag your luggage a long way. I don't know what she meant by that open area being her hotel's parking lot, and if it's that far away, she should at least have made that clear over the phone. What's even more infuriating is that when I arrived at the hotel, the first thing I did was mention the parking issue to the front desk, and the woman there completely ignored me. She immediately asked if I was there to check in. Is that how you treat a front desk? Secondly, I booked a non-smoking room, but the room I received reeked of smoke. Are there still hotels that mislead customers like this? Even non-smokers can smell smoke. I'm utterly speechless about this awful hotel. The slippers were all tattered when I opened them.

The hotel is clean and comfortable! It's right across from the bus station. From there, you can easily hike up the mountain! The hotel staff were all particularly nice! The breakfast is delicious, fresh, and varied! I would love to stay here again next time.

I stayed here last year and had a great experience, so I invited many families and friends to stay here. This is my second time bringing my child, but this experience has made me hesitant to choose Tonghua Hotel near Qingcheng Mountain. Here are a few reasons, please read them carefully: 1. Around 11 PM, crickets were chirping outside the aluminum window, making it impossible to sleep. After requesting a solution, the hotel couldn't resolve the issue and offered to change rooms at 11 PM, which we didn't object to. However, even with staff at the front desk, a robot delivered the room key to the new room. If I hadn't waited a long time without anyone opening the door, I don't know how much longer it would have taken. Perhaps it would have been better if the key had been delivered directly to the guest? 2. The bathroom drain was clogged, clearly indicating a lack of cleaning after check-out; 3. The entire toilet emitted a terrible, extremely foul odor. This sewer odor wasn't an isolated incident; anyone with common sense would understand. It's unclear whether the manager has implemented an evaluation system for daily cleaning; 4. The slippers in the room were broken, just like in the picture, making it difficult to comment on; 5. Before 8 PM, the children's play area on the 3rd floor had only one or two spotlights on, and all the air conditioning was off. When I called the front desk, the staff told me to find the air conditioning control panel at the bar! I think if you don't want to save on electricity costs by opening this area, you can choose not to open it. What are the advertised opening hours for this area? Firstly, it's really disgusting to guests. Are they here for vacation or to work? Secondly, don't include this facility in your description. 6. The breakfast standard is too low. The coffee is like Chinese medicine; using Yunnan coffee beans wouldn't be expensive. There's no juice; could you at least use some espresso? With room rates approaching 500-600 yuan, the breakfast standard of the Rialto Hotel in Qicheng is easily attainable, especially considering its remote location, which likely lowers operating costs considerably. I'm writing so much because the slightly more luxurious facilities near Qingcheng Mountain are outdated. It's hard to imagine that a comprehensive hotel, less than four years old, could have deteriorated to this extent. My experience this time can only be described in two words: disappointing! The extra half-star I'm giving is for the staff member who helped me chase away the crickets.

The hotel is near Qingchengshan Station, about a few minutes' walk away. The room is spacious and bright, and the breakfast is also good. Eating and shopping are near Qingchengshan Station, which is quite convenient.

I stayed there twice in 2022 and was very satisfied with the hotel's service, especially the front desk reception (the guy with glasses was super enthusiastic, and the children liked the enthusiastic uncle very much, but he didn't seem to work there the second time I went there). The attitude of the front desk staff was still very good when I went there again this year, but they were less enthusiastic than before. After staying for two days, the customer service was very proactive in cleaning the room on the second day, adding and replacing the supplies in the room. This is very worthy of recognition. In many places, as long as the guests do not ask for cleaning, they rarely ask proactively. However, although the towels in the hotel are neatly placed, it can still be seen that they have been used repeatedly for too long, and they are not so white when folded there. The hotel can consider replacing them! Before I came to the hotel, there were free mineral water in the lobby lounge and at the elevator entrance on each floor, and there was warm mineral water very considerately. Now there is no free mineral water at all. Of course, if necessary, the customer service can also deliver it to the room, but I feel that the details have been reduced. The children's area is the focus of our love. The air cushion trampoline that used to be broken has not been added. Two small cars and sheep horns have been added. The role area has been updated with various skirts that girls like, and the toys have also been reduced rather than increased. I have always liked Tong paintings. The first impression was very good. I also hope that you will continue to maintain the attention to details. I hope you will get better and better!

The room is spacious and well-planned. There is a washing machine and dryer, which is especially suitable for washing after climbing Mount Qingcheng. The hotel's breakfast is very good and the price is reasonable.
