Red Roof Inn Dumas

There was no one at the front desk when I arrived. There was a note with a number to call if help was needed. Staff did arrive within a few minutes for check in. When I went to check out there was no one at the front desk. The same note was there with a basket to put keys in.

The room was warm when we got there and it took a while to cool down. The air was very loud whenever it kicked on. The mini fridge didn't fit in the compartment so it nearly tipped out. A car behind the hotel had a window broken out with alarm activated. Yogurt was about 10 days expired. Otherwise, the bed was comfy and we rested well.

We spent a very quick night there. Hotel and room were clean. Breakfast was hardly anything. Don't expect much there.

Room was great and very clean. Linens clean. Beds hard but ok. Security lock broken off door. Outside could use a massive power wash. But a good buy for one night. Area locked after 11pm for security. Would stay again.

Pet friendly. Clean. The only thing was the towels could have smelt fresher and the shower gel was empty. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place for the rate we paid. We got in late one night and left after a breakfast the next morning. For our short stay it was a great location and friendly staff. Room was fine, and very basic as expected. Maybe a little fixing up needed on parts of the bathroom door & under the sink, likely due to water damage. But certainly not an issue for us.

Room was adequate for the price we paid. Breakfast was good.

Passing through Dumas. The property was just ok. You get what you pay for. They charged my credit card for the incidental charge even though I did not have any extra charges that would have applied to my room. We found an unknown liquid that was pooled in the middle of the floor when we arrived and saw dead flies smeared on the curtains in our room. Very noisy hallways throughout the night. The property seems OLD and in dire need of updates!

It was stated as continental breakfast in the listing, but there is hardly any breakfast. I don't understand how and why the listed the hotel has continental breakfast.
