Fabulous staff team, they were all extremely friendly and very happy. A great atmosphere throughout the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and provided all that was needed. Thank you especially to Julie who served us our dinner and breakfast.

Stayed here for a week whilst visiting family. Super friendly and helpful reception staff.Rooms perfectly clean. Bar restaurant is being renewed and the staff are doing their uttermost best to still give the guests a pleasent experience. will surely stay here again

Great hotel! Ideal location for exploring! Clean and comfy. The staff were amazing and made our stay extra special. Special mention to George M in reception! He went above and beyond , helpful, knowledgeable and always smiling. He deserves recognition .

Rooms were clean and had all we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. We didn't try the restaurant as it was under going a change but it closed at 9.30pm so not great. Lots of other options nearby like Costa, Starbucks and Greg's

I am a frequent visitor to this hotel primarily for the location. Every time I check in I usually ask for a room on the top floor for the main reason that the floors are not adequately soundproofed for a hotel. Especially in the extension to the original hotel which although boasts nicer rooms is like staying in a house with basic sound proof between floors. On this occasion because reception was busy I was directed to the automatic check in machine and received a room on the ground floor in the extension. I had some of the worst nights sleep ever. The second thing is the WiFi - don’t bother. It needs a complete overhaul. Whether on the free WiFi or if you upgrade to what’s called ‘Ultimate’ WiFi both are pointless Thirdly the restaurant. Filthy and run down. Finally the so called Good Night Guarantee. It doesn’t exist any more. Yes you can find it online complete with t’s and c’s and as well as that it’s emblazoned on the wall behind the reception desk. I enquired about a refund for one night after there was a fault in the fire alarm which went off in the early hours for a few seconds. It terrified me and scared my young daughter to tears. Neither of us could get back to sleep for a good while and made for a poor nights sleep. When I asked about a refund I was given short shrift and told it no longer existed. I wish there was another option for a decent sleep, WiFi and food but…
