Mouswald Lodge Park

Just spent a weekend at this quiet lodge site. The lodge was everything we needed to get away from it all for the weekend. A few things the lodge would benefit from and one being blinds or net curtains as did feel a bit too open but didn’t spoil our experience. The hot tub was lovely. The staff could were amazing and nothing was a bother if we needed it

First impression very scruffy with stained carpets, worn out sofas , and tiny rooms . Nothing looked like the photos we expected for Kirlton lodge The decking was scruffy and not swept in weeks , hot tub didn’t bubble and half the jets broken and the ones working very weak! Not what we came away for and very disappointing. Would not recommend or ever stay again , staff were not interested.

Lovely place and surroundings, hottub over looking fields, lodge was clean apart from few large cobwebs in bedroom, twin beds were all marked with damp at the bottom, didn't look very nice as you opened the bedroom door, but we never used the room anyways, and was no mattress or pillow protectors, duvet had couple stains on and was missing a hairdryer and oven gloves, had to use the tea towel each time to pull out the oven tray, other than that it was a lovely stay!

This place is a hidden gem, we just love it... Shaun and Lynn are so friendly and nothing is a bother to them. The lodges are spotless and well equipped for your stay. Hot tub is amazing and spotlessly clean, we always book the ones at the front as veiw over the fields are lovely. Highly recommend a stay here,u will always return.

We stayed here for 3 nights lovely peaceful location lodge was clean tidy and spacious hot tub was nice and warm god value break would return and recommend. I had a look for June which is a bit more expensive but if you get the right price it’s worth the visit.

Perfect retreat away from anything! Lodge was clean enough- few high up cobwebs but given its in middle of nowhere these can be made daily. Hot tub was well tended to and no noise disturbances from neighbouring lodges. No shop on site but local supermarket 5 minutes drive. Welcome pack was a great treat as we’d forgotten to pack a tea towel and dosh cloth! Lodge had everything you need including plastic glass so you could have a drink in the hot tub. Worth booking of you just want to retreat from the world!
