Orchidea Hotel Lipót

We were three couples and two of us had Lange room, but we had very small room about 3x3.5m. For two nights a little bit uncomfortable. Other services were 5*. Program allinclusive was ideál for us. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excelent. Víme and beer, too.

Orchid Hotel has a nice spa area, outside pool filled with warm mineral water and an English speaking owner. The room was nicely furnished and heated well but the bathroom was, a freezer with no heating at all. The balkony needed some cleaning. The deal in the hotel is "all inclusive" however you can check in at 14.00 hrs just the time when noon buffet is closing, so your first snack is 5pm tea time, taking into consideration that this small village has no other catering outlet. One would expect a bottle of water in the room, but alas, there was none. The rooms, are not equipped with tea and a kettle either. The evening meal was a total disappointment serving a two star quality meal based on products bought in some frozen products centre. The tea water was barely lukewarm. The hotel offers a nature tour in the package, however we have left after one night of stay. The hotel is situated far from the motorway, however it is excellent for bird watchers due to large swamp area in vicinity. In general it hardly can defend the 4 star standard and in vastly overpriced.
