"My children booked an overnight stay in a King Pullman Flora 2 carriage for my 80th birthday which my wife and I enjoyed immensely. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Dinner in the lovely Ena Pullman carriage was sublime, thank you Francesca! Very comfortable king size bed. Super breakfast on the sunny platform in a lovely setting. Will definitely recommend and we will come back, hopefully for afternoon tea!"

"Our stay at the hotel for a wedding was overall fantastic. The location was breathtaking, providing an idyllic setting for the occasion. Although we didn't explore the spa and golf facilities, they looked inviting. The breakfast was a delightful mix of traditional English and continental options, starting our day on a high note. The only hiccup was the lack of assistance with our luggage to our room across the car park, a tricky trek in high heels, especially with the unpredictable weather. Fortunately, the rain paused, easing our journey slightly. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend the hotel for its stunning location and delicious breakfast, with a note to be prepared for a bit of a walk if your room is further out."

"I went away on a solo break and stayed here. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Dulce and her team were friendly and helpful and everyone I interacted with were pleasant. Everyone there went out of their way to make sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible."

"Absolutely lovely night at Bridge Cottage. Charming house filled with art and treasures from travel, super bathtub and comfortable bed. The wind and rain outside only emphasized our cozy comfort. Delicious breakfast. Literal 5 minute walk to The Greyhound for dinner, 10 minute bus ride from South Downs Way in Cocking."

"The two female members of staff who checked us in and prepared food for us were very welcoming and friendly. The YHA is in an excellent location on the South Downs way. Beautiful views. The room is basic, bunk beds and a sink. A standard YHA room. Showers were shared and hot. Standard YHA menu, we had an evening meal which was good. The kitchen is very basic, only microwave, kettle, sink and fridge. Hopefully the full kitchen will open again in due course. The communal sitting area is crammed with chairs, unless you want to sit on each others laps it would be better to take some of the (rotten) chairs out and make it a more pleasant place to sit and enjoy the view. Devils dyke is a lovely 5k walk from the YHA, with a pub/ restaurant."
