Travelodge Dundee Central Hotel

The Hotel was satisfactory accommodation, the bathroom was clean and tidy, room was very spacious and beds were large and made well. For the price the room was very satisfactory and the only few issues we had is the walls had been repainted a bit shoddy in places and there wasnt a hairdryer, although there was a fan which was a nice suprise.

Location is fine, brisk 5 or gentle 10 minute walk to the train station. With a gym next door, you can buy a day pass for £9. It's a travel lodge, rooms fine, you know what you are getting. Staff were all very friendly, lady checked me in good 30 minutes before 3pm. Only moan is prior to 2pm looks like no staff on duty, so if you wanted to check in early you can't. Will definitely use it again when I'm next in Dundee.

Arrived on Sunday 30th August for a 2 night stay..Met bu a young blonde haired man who showed the personality of a potato and treated us as a massive inconvenience. Got to our room to find it had been cleaned by Paul, who had failed to notice a smashed telly screen..Went to reception to ask them to change it, mr potato and Paul came to look.. oh right.. Paul claimed he hadnt noticed. An hour later still nothing so went back to reception and I asked if a replacement was sorted... no... blank face! So I requested another room! Was reluctantly given one, bed wasn't usual comfy, crack through the sink, one plug socket in the whole room, the fan.in the bathroom never turned off all night. So after a rubbish night's sleep we left a day early wouldn't stay there again.

The location is very handy for the town centre the atmosphere is so calm we felt like we could actually live there permanently rooms are clean and fresh every time u walk into the room it smells so fresh compared to some hotels we've been too its good value it's worth the money

Had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly, and everything was perfect. Would definitely return!

Great central location in Dundee and really good value for money. The room was spacious, with a nice big bathroom, perfect for couples. Chris at reception was very helpful and gave us great advice on things to do around Dundee.
